@ffreplica515 I guess im the kinda person who doesnt look for 'the point' right away, or sometimes at all. For the most point I just love the characters, and the realism they present, the stories they tell me. And Ken Park was an interesting voyeuristic little thrill for me.

This movie is laughably stupid. The plot (if there is one) is completely disjointed, the characters are not connected in any way throughout the film except for at the end (and only for the thousandth awkward sex scene in the movie). There must be some kind of deep social commentary that I'm missing.
I wouldn't recommend it unless you like low budget porn, but you can watch it on stagevu.
Kids was good, though.

The movie is about exposing suburban American dirty little secrets. I'm obviously not Larry Clark so I can't tell you exactly what he intended the movie to mean, but I thought it had a coherent followable plot, it's and art film so of course it's going to be a little out there. And if you admit to clearly not understanding the movie why would you go out of your way to seek out a youtube to call it "laughably stupid." and "disjointed"

This movie was both clever and stupid at the same time. I liked the way they used silence to make more natural sounds prominent such as the dog "legs" barking to shatter the atmosphere. But all in all, this movie is pretty much self indulgent rubbish. The plot is just silly, and unbelivable. The sex scenes were awkward, their is some sexual immigary in this that was just gross, and the ending was incredibly stupid. I woudn't pay for it, it was more gross than shocking or thrilling.
