@88roro11 : Sadly, most cops aren't educated about American legalities. ModeI rn cops are trained to follow ORDERS whether those orders are unlawful, or not. Almost all police departments are now paramilitary units, so we are actually living in a nation with a standing army, we're under military occupation. This is why the 2nd Amendment is so imperative. I hate to say it, but the day will come when we'll have to resort to a confrontation with the Man behind the Green Curtain.

Police Academies are also instrumental in instilling an US vs THEM attitude into a cop's psyche. Cops in America are now paramilitary units, and follow orders from their superiors. Their superiors receive orders from higher ups, on and on.
