having played both football and rugby, being captain of varsity for both sports for four years, and playing on a national team in england, rugby is a much more physically harsh game. it takes alot more endurance than football, but football is harder hitting. their two completely different games and to try and compare them is like comparing tennis and windsurfing. same field, close to the same ball, but the game is totally different. both great games, neither better. have some fuckin respect.
