@CorrectYourselfFirst A devoutly religious man, who was a disciple of Bayazid, said to him one day: 'I am surprised that anyone who accepts God should not attend the mosque for worship.'
Bayazid answered: 'I, on the other hand, am surprised that anyone who knows God can worship him and not lose his senses, rendering his ritual prayer invalid.'
These ignorant people are not referred to as 'wahabbi' they are correctly referred as 'najdi's they follow the ideology and teachings of Shaykh Abdul Wahab, they love to point fingers but challange them face-to-face and they run! Truthful muslims never run away from the truth! We stand and defend our sunnah! they only speak only behind close doors, bring them proof after proof and watch how they react! Even Mastercard will say 'its priceless'
This dance is not religious, for one to understand Sufu dance, they must study about Mavlana Jalaluddin Balkhi Rumi, and why and how he performed Sufi dance.
@Naazigak1 Rumi had said that his practices were instituted for the temperament of the people of Asiatic Turkey, not for Europe and America. In accordance with Sufi practice, exercises are devised for specific time and people.---Idries Shah
Now is there an exception to the rule? I don't know.
@CorrectYourselfFirst Sufism is a mystical movement in which, thru dance and music a humble person reaches out to the Almighty with unconditional love and praise. This experience, the great feeling of joy and oneness with the devine is beyond the understanding and comprehension of most individuals. Sufism is based on love, compassion, kindness and empathy. Inshallah, we should all be so "misquided" Today when "pure bred Muslims" kill each other by the thousands, the world needs Sufism.
@AlexanderaCherie you should know that there are many different branches of Sufis and all have different traditions. Spinning is a reflection of life. Everything goes in cycles. You are born, you die, Winter follows summer, the harvest grows and is gathered in. The dance is just a reflection of that. You should know that the songs the Turkish Sufis dance to is the most beautiful poetry that sings of man's love of Allah. What is wrong with that? Put away your anger and try to understand
My Husband's friend who is also an Alim is a Sufi and he does not teach like this because it's not apart of Sufism. Any Knowledgeable person knows this. Previous Sufi Scholars never spun around, dancing to Music.
@AlexanderaCherie Sufis have been dancing to songs in praise of Allah since the time of Akbar the great of India in the 16th Century and it is very much part of Sufism.Music singing and dancing is an expression of the human soul. Therefore the Devil hates music, because in it humans express their devine nature. When people listen to music it calms the soul or brings joy. If you do not hear music or singing it causes depression, frustration, anger and violence. Just like how you are feeling.
And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-Fire).
And I am not angry, but stating the truth... Allah knows best & knows I have conveyed His Message and will show on the Day of Judgement WHO is correct.
@AlexanderaCherie Yesterday, True believing Muslims murdered Sufis in a Mosque in Pakistan. Why did they do it? Why did they have the feeling that they could kill these gentle innocent people? It is because self righteous, Quran quoting, hateful people like you keep posting messages saying they are of the devil and not belong to true Islam. When you write these things others see and hear those words and act on them. You are also to blame. Now you have blood on your hands. Happy now?
@rannajim what the frig....that's just as stupid as saying all Muslims are terrorists because a few flew a plane into the twin towers.
I wouldn't kill Sufi's um because I'm friends with a Sufi's wife.
Just because I do not agree to this so called "sufism" form doesnt' mean I am a murderer. Go grow up and get an education on how a person murders someone.
So 'muslims' is that the religion? Are you learning the religion to Allah and to the prophet p.b.u.h.
Who bring in our religion something new it's refused and he will be punished for them!If someone do the same learning from him,he will be punished even for him.Even the second will be punished for his part!
Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
We have to spin clockwise from left to right, because if we turn counterclockwise, from right to left, meaning in a negative manner, that way is useless. We must develop our chakras in a positive manner.
Therefore, clockwise develops the chakras in a positive manner.
I thought Sufi Whirling Dervishes whirled counter clockwise with one hand palm up and the other palm down and with the right foot stepping over the left. IS the title of this video a mistake?
Every muslim is allowed to practice as they wish. Give these people their opportunity to practice. They are not harming anyone. Be pluralistic to other brothers and sisters.
CorrectYourselfFirst :You are a Shia3a Mullah. Next thing you want us is to give you money for figuring out what anyone believes in, with your crystal ball. I danced Tennoura in the Helwan University 18 years ago, and won the best top 3 Egyptian folk dancers Egypt wide. It was just a nother activity like football and tennis, to dance Sa3eedy, Tenooura, 7aggal. Why don't you move to Iran? they love people like you there.
As is the case with many things in this world, beauty--or heresy, in this case--is in the eye of the beholder. We all see what we want to see. Unfortunately, I disagree that there is anything bad or negative about this video, & I find your comments mean-spirited, excessive, and detractive from the ability of other viewers to enjoy the video as they choose. I am henceforth blocking you from commenting further on this video. MaSalaama.
Thanks for your input, it is interesting to hear this perspective on the video. However, your commentary may be a bit misplaced as this video is not meant to advocate any particular ideas or beliefs (whether right or wrong), but rather serve as a record of one individual dance performance.

turkish made this "sufi dance" up, its not in real Sufisim, this stuff is Shaytaan playing,
Sufis do zikr like normal muslims, they sit and say Subhanallah ect: by counting on their fingers or tesbeeh. not spinning around like a goof.

What do Imam ash-Shaf'ee (rahimahullaah)say about the SUFI'S?
Baihaqee reports in Manaqib ash-Shaaf'ee,
"If a man becomes a Sufi in the first part of the day, by the time Zhohr comes upon him you will find him crazy."
