This is wrong on soooooo many levels. The man in the video is breaking the law of feeding wild crocodiles...not to mention that Costarican crocodiles are an endangered species. He is also putting other people at risk of a crocodile attack. The croc will associate people with food and when they don't feed them, they will see them as prey. Which in turn will make people kill this amazing and endangered animal. This is why they need our help...but not like this man is doing.

A lair doesn't have to mean an actual enclosed place, scotty, it simply means a place of refuge for the animal, somewhere that they feel safe from predators. So, technically, the place that a female builds her nest would qualify as a lair, as much as your house could.

Modern "Lair" likely comes from the Old English "Laiyer" of "Layer" which simply meant to "hunker down".
