  • You mention in this video about sneaking into snooker halls? I'd love to here another 'Telling it all' on said subject ? As a long time subscriber I much prefer your early offerings, I often find my self watching them when I have a spare 10 minutes! Tom

  • I laughed about how you went about catching the rabbits. Hee hee.

How exciting how you spent your money. Big band Jazz is my absolute favorite. You have excellent taste is music, grandpa.

    Loved this video!

  • my grandpa said that sometimes when they saw a rabbit by the side of the road they would fall on the rabbit and catch it in their coat. it was kind of funny ... walking along and someone would just fall out and pop up with a rabbit. doesn't sound very believable but i am sure he wouldn't story me.

  • This is a hilarious story! But very cute.

  • You Dad looks like a great guy!

  • Heh heh. Karate chopping rabbits to death. Somehow, that's an incredibly funny visual. :-)

  • I agree completely!

  • Rag and bone men! Donkey stones, I do believe. :)

  • Marvelous stories. I'm only 50, and I have many stories to tell. I know you have so much more to say. I can only hope you, and perhaps I, get to tell them.

    Happy Father's Day

    Mike

  • Its goose-stepping morons like you who do not exist.

  • I enjoyed that, especially the rabbiting. I'm a 14 year old boy who catches a few with his ferrets and also pots a few with air rifle and shotguns.

As for the person 'who says who cares if you were starving'. They have obviously always been in a fortunate enough position never to be hungry and besides rabbit is prime quality eating!

    Ollie

  • whoa! love the pajamas

  • Oh how far we've "progressed" since then!!

  • Beautiful stories! Do keep them coming!

  • thank you i enjoyed that most interesting i would say shame about the wonkas just gos to show how some people judge others .. i look forward to your next clip..

  • Jeesus man, your so leet.

  • Thanks for sharing your stories.

  • i can truly imagine you telling realy scary ghost stories

to scare little kids ;-) would be a nice change maybe ? but i guess you are not into that stuff !? anyway please go on

we will never let you down !

  • Benny Goodman & Artie Shaw. Geriatric1927, you are my hero.

  • Thank you for your stories - xoxo

  • I respect your stance on hunting, stand firm on your convictions, but I have a question. Just food (no pun intended) for thought. How do you think civilization survived before grocery stores? Just wondering. :)

  • I respect your stance on the killing of animals, but I do have a question for you to consider. Just food for thought (no pun intended). What do you think civilization did before grocery stores? :)

  • thanks for respecting my views but civilization could've evolved from eating organic materials. NOT FLESH!

  • humans are omnivores

  • Thanks for another great post.

  • FANTASTIC Peter - The ball bearing thing was seminal. look forwrd to watching Part 18 next.

greetings from Mark in Swindon. Thanks for you email by the way, just hearing from you cheered me up. :-)

  • Reported, I suggest you leave you pathetic little freak.

  • So he can educate pathetic ignorant losers like you

  • The message i wrote above was to some loser who was bad mouthing Peter. However the guy later removed his message, so it might look as though I was having a go at Peter instead. I would just like to make it clear that I Really like and respect Peter for all his good work.

  • Well said, madwebby.

  • I'm surprised by the lack of "OH NO TEH POOR RABITTS!!! OMG!!!ONE1ONE!!11"

I figured there'd be more PETA people here.

  • Hey wigeto you're funny. Oh and I'm sure this man is going to take the comment from someone who has worse spelling and grammar than a 4th grader. I doubt there is anyone here who can decipher what you just said. Your a perfect example of why kids should stay in school.

  • Hi Peter. I am a 32 year old American living in Germany. I discovered YouTube by accident, and somehow or another, yours was one of the first videos I saw. I think that spoiled me: listening to you is such a delight; I have been quite disappointed with the rest of you tube! I am sorry the media are bothering you, and please know there are a lot of us out here who just love to see you and your stories and videos. You have inspired me in a lot of ways. One is: just to be myself. Thanks.

  • yawn

  • Everytime when I come here the only thing I want to do is to find out what you've got to tell us. By the way, I love it when you say "Good bye" it just reminds the famous Anne Robbinson version ;D Thank you so much Peter x

  • Excellant. Well Done G!

  • I really loved this video. It makes me wish I had someone as charming as you for my grandfather! Wonderful storytelling, sir!

  • One grandfather for rent any takers

  • Great story, I used to hunt aswell! The karateshop is wel known here with rabbits and hazes:)

    Thanks Peter,

    Boudewijn

  • Great just great... keep going..

  • nice opening graphics...just to say, to anyone, theres a film called Blinking Ballet, only a few minutes, has old people doing ballet on the streets, worth checking out.

  • on behave of you tube: Fuck you Diegourzua.

dont watch it if you dont like it.

  • Diegourzua is a sad individual seeking attention.

  • I much prefer the stories you are telling.

  • hello youtubas "slight wistle"

    -Bryce

P.S. I have not posted really any videos at all except for one, but that was only to see if it worked. If I do post any videos I will let you know.

  • Thank you, Peter, for this interesting story; you made me laugh and it was nice to see you laughing as well! A boa constrictor!!! Gosh!!! Thank you for showing us your family photo! Lots of love from Germany XXXXXXXX

  • Haha the rag and bone men still come round sometimes collecting old tat that nobody wants any more.

Very rarely, but they still do!

  • Great Job Peter. Your stories calm me thru this really bad time in my life keep it up. Also nice job incorporating the lead in argent made for you.

  • Great story!

  • How sweet! An old man discussing how he murdered rabbits.

  • With the same logic you could say that "a fox murdered a rabbit". A little bit too dramatic, wouldn't you say?

  • SHUT UP!

  • NO!

  • How sweet! A self-righteous chump who'd rather they starved than kill a few rabbits. Bet you've never been truly hungry in your entire life.

  • Nice to see you Peter. Maybe you shoudl be a director

  • people nowdays don't know a rabbit could make the difference whether you eat or don't eat! One relative killed a rabbit on his sister's farm so he could eat; they didn't speak to each other for twenty years. The time period was The Great Depression. Youngsters don't know how it was. Enjoy your stories and presentation. Keep it up!

  • ha ha you are old.

  • I had rabbits as pets, BUT, wild rabbits are another thing. They can destroy a garden (that some rely on as food) in no time, and they can carry some nasty germs. That is NOT to say that I would ever shoot and eat a rabbit, BUT, I would if I had a choice to eat a wild rabbit or my dog (some places in this world they DO eat their pet dogs)...that rabbit would make a tasty stew.

  • enjoy listening to you! Take care , Karolyn

  • Peter, you are getting better and better!

  • oh i am not the biggest fan of this one... I understand it had to be done but i hate to think of the fear those rabbits musta felt :(

  • Anonther excellent installment. You are the antidote to my hectic life. It's great to sit back and listen to your interesting stories.

    Many thanks.

  • NICE =D

  • Thanks for all the episodes, I have seen every one. I only wish you could go on for an hour show! Enjoy yourself

  • pETERS BACK!

  • I love listening to you grandpop (with or without bombs and bullets). :)

  • Love to hear more about the snooker room with some photos and show us the snooker cue.

  • I couldn't live with myself if i had killed numerous Rabbits. I realise you did it for food and money. But to me, animals are just like children...They look to humans for protection.

  • Thanks for sharing this interesting episode of your childhood/youth. You're the most sympathetic narrator ever! It's obvious that you're used to talk in front of people. Are you a retired teacher or even professor?

  • Your family picture is precious. Thanks for sharing it. P.S. You were cute then, too. ;)

  • Awsome, plus i love the intro.

  • thnx pete !!

  • so you broke rabbits necs for food.. and enjoyed it.. i wasnt that sadistic by the time i was 7, let alone 12 :p

  • Peter, thank you for sharing your life with us again! Cheers!

  • Please keep to record the vid, i always support you and respect you.. love and hug :)

  • Hey i think geriatric1927 is the king of youtube, i like him the way he is and his presentation is what youtube is all about. Not really interested in flashy direction etc. And keeping a secret identitity is just magic. Like I said, King Geriatric1927, long may he rule.

  • Great. Love your stories. Wonderful to see you back on the youtube. Keep em comming. My aunt lived in Scotland during the war and worked on a farm.

  • thanks for the vids

  • Loved your sweet family photo and your commentary. It's always such a treat to find that you've posted another video!

  • Hey, I just saw some clips of your videos being shown on BBC Breakfast news. It's a bit disorientating seeing someone on YouTube on the TV...

  • Do you know I could just listen to you talk for hours and hours and hours? :D I love your videos so! Thank you again, Peter. Hugs and love from Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Here....we're listening. :)

  • Wow! I totally agree with Mark, and you look alot like your dad (this is a compliment!). Can I ask what year this was/how old you were? In the meantime, Thanks again Peter for your wonderful tales of life before most of us were born, and for the advice of "never trust the innocent ones" *giggle* Advice well given.

    < hugs >

  • wow..you still look so much like your picture when you were a boy. I enjoyed this talk...thank you for doing this for us. I wish people would do this for their family. I would give anything to have stories my grandmother and grandfather used to tell. Perhaps I should do some of this for my son.

  • Great stories Peter -- I still very much look forward to them. Thanks!

  • Another wonderful video :o) sadly i dont think we shall see peter with a directors account because he applied for it before but they asked him personal details which he wasnt wanting to give... i understand why though, what with all the media trying to find out what his real name is and where he really lives!

  • Thank You Mr Paul

    Best story teller in YouTube!

Just out of curiosity, did my comments asking for War stories helped at all or was it just a great happy coincidence ?

  • ohh and hows your son doing and might we be seeing him ?

  • ahh so your a pool shark hmm

  • ten minutes well spent

  • Thank you for this video!!

  • PS Please apply for DIRECTORS account so that you can make longer videos for all of us to enjoy. Thanks.

  • Thank you once again Peter. Always delighted to hear from you.

  • Another gem of a video Peter. I enjoy hearing all the simple details of your life and love hearing you laugh at some of your remembrances. Tell us about bombs, etc. if you wish but your everyday life is fascinating as well. Love from Texas.

  • Skin a rabbit? Just..Ewwwwwwwwww LOL

  • in todays society, liking to kill animals is a bad sign... although i understand the totally different circumstances. rabbit stripping = like chicken i assume. gentle hi5 = giving dap other than the high5 thing the last half was fun... bombs arent the best... i still wonder what you found in your love life...

  • You probably considered it thought provoking enough to comment, fucktard

  • 5 stars. thanks for sharing your memories.

  • Great stuff as always Peter, Thank you.

No need to rush getting through everything though! Do relax and enjoy the moment you speak to us as much as we enjoy hearing it.

    cheers!

  • Thank you, Peter. Good stuff!

  • Hi Peter, do you still follow cricket? I can't wait to get the ashes back this upcoming summer. Great new video my friend.

    Paul from Sydney

  • Another great video! Thank you, Peter. Your rabbit story reminded me of watching my father kill chickens in our back yard by wringing their necks. Hope I never have to, but I suppose I could do it if necessary to feed my loved ones. Or maybe convince them to become vegans. ;)

  • another great video! I love seeing the old photos. You look a bit like your dad

  • Thanks Peter.:)

  • Thank you for sharing, sir.

  • I really like your MOTORCYCLE REVVING introduction. I think it should be your theme..VaRooooooooom!!

  • definition of class and what our society needs more of

haha, thanks for "telling it all" peter

  • Yeah, unfortunately he's one of the few who know how precious life is.

  • few people have lived through a war time in a war burdened country like england in those days

  • I agree,but after Sept.11th people changed.Then about a month later,they changed back.It's a different world today.We couldn't do what those people and many others have done.Not today.Damn shame.

  • LOL, thanks Peter :P)

That way you say 'Goodbye' always make me smile and wait for the next one.

  • What a handsome lad :) Thanks for another great video-you brought yet again a slice of happiness to an otherwise crappy day. Thanks, Liz

  • These are very good stories. No bomb fragments needed.

  • Your motorcycle roaring at the beginning is far better than the lion of Metro Goldwyn Meyer!
