I was saddened to learn of Porter Wagoner's passing. He will never be forgotten. "The Rubber Room" is such a profound piece of music. I had no idea that he had suffered from mental illness and had been hospitalized with Johnny Cash. Porter Wagoner was an inspiration to others just like him. RIP

I heard Wagonmaster on David Letterman last night! Marty and his band were there, and I was really impressed! Great Job Porter, and of course kudo's go out to Marty Stuart and his band! It was quite a sight and sound!

Marty Stuart produced Porter Wagnoner's new album, Wagonmaster. Porter is 80 years old, and the new album has gotten rave reviews. Of course Nashville music scene once again turned its back on an older artist such as Lorretta Lynn, Johnny Cash.
