  • and then i clicked "mute"

  • 2:48 and 2:57 are just awesome! sure, it's kumite championship style. focus on speed, not power. i think, sometimes the refs should not give away wasaris too easy. power would be more important then.

  • SHOTOKAN THE BEST

  • I DONT LIKE THIS FORM OF KARATE, SPORT KARATE , I LIKE THE OLD STYLE HARD AND NO GLOVES

  • @jav2512 me too. but still no reason to use big "shout" letters.

  • kuokushin karate is the best

  • in the past self-control was,but now its gonne.

  • name is that song is iko iko - capitain jac ;-)

  • @MsManemane thanx :D

  • they are both good! :P

  • name of the song ? pls (A)

  • Shotkan is good for competitions, but not for self defence. Great style though. Kyokushin! xD

  • @Jaxmetallicabfmvgnr it all depends on how you train. buddy. and who you train with.

  • yes shotokan is good for self-defense :)

  • la musica es un asco pero el video esta bueno!!!!!!

  • Ahhh.... I love shotokan karate :)

  • Qualcuno sà il nome della canzone?

    Name of the song?

  • jesus dude, the music was so inappropriate!

  • what did you expect? "you're the best" from karate kid???

  • what the people don't understand is that the competition is only a part of the Karate. Many strikes is not avaible in a sport fight, like a hiza geri (knee), Enpi (elbows) or kicks to the legs (gedan). Karate is not a Sport, can be praticed like a Sport, but the trully Karate is praticed as a Martial Art with self defense objective.

  • People say that shotokan is non contact but I can tell you we have always done some pretty rough dojo sparring. I have seen many go for stitches and casts for broken bones over the years. I doubt that most shotokan competitors would be intimidated by Kyokushin fighters or anyone else for that matter.

  • @Ronin6575 WHAT'S WRONG GUYS - DOES THIS VIDEO LOOKS LIKE NO CONTACT TO YOU??? SO THE PROTECTORS ARE WEARED FOR?????

  • @pawel86able These are very tough competitors and this is applicable to both competition and street combat.

  • nice vid

  • @FlyyGabriel is right. He knows what a real figt means.

  • It doesn't matter if there's no contact allowed by the rules! contacts always happens on the tournaments! There's always broken noses and ribs! once i saw a guy that broke his spine when he was sweeped really bad!

  • come on, this is gay!

  • And you said this is dancing...

If someone didn't understood that you do that small jumps in order to be MUCH faster, less coreographic and also in better stance when you hit.

A MOVIG target is much harder to hit than somone that stays there and stands....

BOXERS also have their feet movement done right...they're dancing? I don't think so.

  • I don't see kyokushin fighters beeing fast like this watch?v=LnX0Kzbc0lc.

I train with weights, run, train WKF karate but boy It's been long since I was thinking the big dude wins, lol and here is a "big dude" with muscles speaking, power comes from speed, proper alignment of your body and also muscles.

  • NUNCA FALTA UN IMBECIL...

  • @Pakleni1 then go ahead fight a shotokan guy and post your video lets see how badd ass u are

  • under kyokushin rules I would destroy him...i don't train kyokushin for long time so I don't have much expirience but I am shure that a junior shotokan fighter (15-18) would be beaten by my hands and legs

  • @Pakleni1 Before you speak, know your limits and knowledge.

You call this watch?v=drHe8sRzVuM a fight?

Kyokushin are slow dudes punching at 2cm from each other.

In a street wins the fastest one that knocks you down, not a slow dude.

  • @FlyyGabriel now you are speaking stupid things..........

kyokushin slow dudes?how many ughts did you watch?

    wich fighters did you watch?

you watched fight quest....wtf...these kyokushin guys could kill them here...

  • @Pakleni1 Look man they don't kill no one... I train also Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (ground fighting), and that can kill much easier and with less effort very fast, karatekas included.

That beeing said I've checked Lechi Kurbanov and he's slow, compare it to this video... He had few faster kicks but that's it, the moves are easy to see and defend from them. Also you can see kyokushin fights are like from 50cm, shotokan are kicks and punches from 2 meters sometime and that my boy is FAST.

  • @FlyyGabriel ok look now...in shotokan karate is no contact karate....kyokushin full contact karate...if you stay on 1 meter distance you ca neasy be knock out....so some of kyokushin fighters fight on 50 cm distance ... and still knock out with powerful kicks....you can't compare shotokan and kyokushin fighting becouse in shotokan there is no contact...they are not accustomed to pain...it is easy tofight in shotokan on 2 meters distance when you can't be knock out....

  • @Pakleni1 Well one guy in my gym just got his nose broken in a kumite fight and he'll be out for weeks. There is contact like in all styles, is just kyokusin that lots of random punches in the stomach from close distance so you can say kyokusin is more accostumed to pain but shotokan has the same ammount of contacts like other styles.

From videos looks like kyokusin is all about getting accustomed to be hit in the upper body.

  • @FlyyGabriel If you break nose to your opponent in shotokan kumite you are disqualified,is it true? Shotokan is dancing becouse I see two grasshoppers wich can't punch each other , their guard is funny and do you think that all of those kick would knock out opponent?

  • @Pakleni1 that's only because you have to display control, lack of control show bad technique which is worth nothing, if a good karate-ka did not control jodan yakazuki or kicked as hard as they could it would certainly break bones and cause internal hemorrhaging, don't suppose you really know too much about that. and our guard is funny??? we at least do controlled strikes to the head (not just kicks) kyokushin looks like people who can't decide whether they want to do karate or play belly tag

  • @jcbamm26 LMAO! belly tag!? hahahaha so true

  • @FlyyGabriel انا لعب كراتية من العراق

  • @FlyyGabriel fuck it shotokan is no contact karate kyokushin is full contact karate if shotokan is full contact karate most probably more effective than kyokushin

  • @9362150487 Let me tell you: in my Shotokan dojo, I have left with bruises, cuts, and sprains galore.

No contact, eh? Come to my dojo and spar. Let's see what "no contact" looks like on you the next day.

Remember: that which does not kill us makes us stronger.

  • @deosullivan3 dude im a shotokan fighter as well and in my dojo there is no contact

  • @9362150487 Hey, your dojo, your rules. Personally, I want to know what it feels like to get hit so that if I ever have to defend myself on the street, I am better prepared.

  • @deosullivan3 actually to be honest i got in a fight in my school we sparred and i did my shotokan style it is actually effective but in a fight you wont feel any pain maybe you might feel but less painful because your body is active my enemy punched me so many times in the body i felt force but not pain in a fight and after the fight but my balls hurt because he kicked me in the nuts which is a fucking gay thing to do

  • @9362150487 i think shotokan is most dangerus if u figth real

sry but i havent see kyukushin(only a wheelkick) so i dont know...

and yes shotokan is a no-contact style but u dont need full contact to lay ur enemy down...

im f*cking bad to eng sryXD

  • @Pakleni1 By the way you still did not reply to me about the dancing thing you were saying, maybe you understood something ;) Go tell Bruce Lee (one that was really convinced) and Boxers to stop moving their feet lol.

Ali was a good "dancer" too...

  • @FlyyGabriel there is no enough power?.In kyokushin your point is to destroy your opponent. There are injuries like broken ribs, broken legs, you tell that there is no power in kyokushin leg kicks?you think that kyokushin fighters can't make distance and make a strong kick?

  • @Pakleni1 And by the way, is very easy to sit there and kick like nonsense but it's much harder to punch and go out of your oppopents reach so you don't get punched too.

In kyokushin I see one gives 7 punches than stops and it's the other's turn to hit....what's the point of it? Wins who can take the more hits? Not a fight style I like.

  • @FlyyGabriel guy from my club has broken a leg to his opponent after that he knocked him out with heel in the jaw...(still no power) do you ever watch kyokushin KOs?well you should then you would know what is it all about...

  • @Pakleni1 I should add...in a 50cm distance there can be no strong kick because you don't have space to move your leg with a full body movement (full power), that means you'll give a small kick that get's stopped because there's no distance.

My point is Kyokushin is static fighting, no understanding of keeping the distance when you strike and no feet movement, with no feet movement punches are less powerfull than if it had good feet movement because it's the base of your hits.

  • @FlyyGabriel If you see a fighter with great leg tahnique you will offcourse that you will fight in 50 cm...One of the most important things in kyokushin is circular movement, but you cant expect all fighters can move like Mouhamed Ali...In kyokushin you have only 2 min to show what you can do...in boxing 12 rounds.watch this videoswatch?v=bEkgqAO7tl8 you think they are slow? watch?v=N-VrlC9E-RU watch this watch low kicks knockouts no power in 50 cm?????wtf????

  • @Pakleni1 LOL I love how kyokushin people want to try to talk crap about shotokan all the time, when we all know it's simply because you guys are insecure about how much better it is, I mean no disrespect but I mean really, do you know how old it gets to be watching a shotokan video and then scroll down and see something about how someone thinks kyokushin is better? You know stepping in with us youd get swept and hit in the head and that'd be it for ya...

  • @FlyyGabriel watch Lechi Kurbanov,Andy Hug...why do you think kyokushin guys cant punch fast or kick fast?watch fights more careful...shotokan is all about speed and technique and kyokushin that + strenghth...you think that kyokushin fighters can't do all moves that shotokan fighters can?and you cant expect from a heavyweight man to be quick....or whatever...

  • lol you guys are brilliant. you give me a reason for sparring. GREAT<GREAT<
