@shanaraeden she probably wasn't sure what letter it was in english. In finnish some different sounds have different letters, there was probably an accent over the e or something and she didn't know if the e had a different name in english. i think it might but idk...
@FluffyPuff16 That's pretty much the reason I think. "E" is pronounced a little like "a" in Finland (and "i" is like "e" etc. - it's all mixed up, lol - why did they write the language like this), it's hard for some people to remember "which was which" when speaking in english.
Its hard not to make a big deal out of someone's accent and not look like a douche. This guy is a shining example. I've also met some Brit's who made fun of my American accent. Also douches.
she probably had one of those European letters like êëèé. If you really care try holding alt then pressing three on the num pad. I'm sure you'll love it. But yeah alt + typing any number above 129 will get you those letters.
@Keeshtok Actually no, it's just A N N E with a normal e, she was just confused by the letters in english. As it is said before in the comments, a finnish pronounciation of "i" is exactly the same as english "e", which confuses those finns who are not that good in english
she got confused because 'e' in finnish is pronouced as 'a' and 'i' as 'e' ..... this happens often when you have to translate/convert english into finnish or vice versa. :D
she dont know how to spell her name since in finland they have their own special letters that is hard to explain to strangers who speak foreign languages ..=)
@sixtengranroth I meant to say that they have OTHER letters - like : ä or ö , that they maybe dotn know how to explain the spelling with those letters , that maybe it is difficult to explain the name of those letters and their pronouncation - maybe she has one of those letters in her name and it was hard for her to explain the ENGLISH spelling with the finnish letters .
that's why i think she didnt continue the spelling of her name , or maybe it was from another reason
@horse2244 sorry, I got so uppset, haha, I don't even know why. But no she doesn't have an ä or ö in her name, she just doesn't know how to say E in English, which pretty emberrassing considering that she's a grown-up and came to U.S where she definetely needs to speak English..in Finnish we say the letter E, as eeeee, haha, can't really explain it like this, but anyways it's different..have a great life horse:)
In finnish the letter "I" is pronounced exactly like the letter "E" is in english - I think the situations where a native finnish speaker has to actually pronounce english letters occurs so rarely that when it's needed it may lead to mixing up the pronunciations.. or blacking out altogether as in this case (altho id guess being filmed has a major part in this particular clip as well:)
She seriously dont know how to spell her own name... the fuck...

@Anzenthe youre both right and wrong
english e is both finnish i and e, because in english certain letters have multiple meanings (their casual alphabet hasn't been "updated" since ever)
set - finnish e
we - finnish i
