@djallusive You can get it in any store really that sells exotic animals, be it reptiles or inverts. However you don't HAVE to use cork bark. I often go around the woods and find good bits of bark. When you come to use them just bake them in the oven for 10-20 minutes at 100 degrees or so to kill off any nasties and then you are good to go. Much cheaper that way.
@djallusive How much ventilation do you have? and how often are you spraying the enclosures? Mold tends to grow in an environment that is too moist with not enough ventilation. You should let an enclosure dry out before spraying it again. I tend to spray enclosures once or twice a week only.
@Beginnersguides87 i spray it every day lol i think i should tone it down then um also i only have like 12 holes in a 10 gallon tank but my spiderling is in a container with about 30 holes
@Beginnersguides87 i have a avic avic. is it possible for you to tell me the best substrate for it because i really cant find peat moss and was suggesting Hagen Plantation Soil Tropical Terrarium Substrate 8 Quart.
why is cork bark good for arboreal?
djallusive 8 months ago
@djallusive Its not just good for arboreals, its good for all T's because bacteria and mould find it hard to grow on to it. But it is expensive.

@djallusive lol tone down the spraying, let it dry out between sprayings. That is why you have mold issues.
