Noel is a legend, but no one compliments each other in music better than the Gallagher brothers. It's remarkable how much better these songs are when Liam sings them..As well as how much better Liam sounds when he sings Noel's words and harmony's. Noel's not a frontman. Liam's not a songwriter.

Yeah, if I'd have know the cost up front I probably wouldn't have been there but I agreed to go with my friend and left him in charge of the bidding for the tickets! Nearly killed me at the time, but having watching it back (thanks for posting Ravstar999) it reminded me what a unique night it was and that it was for a really good cause, so no regrets what so ever!

The gig was in 2006 at a small venue in Islington, London called the Union Chapel. It was part of a series of gigs organised by/for Mencap and fronted by Radio 1's Jo Wiley. I was lucky enough to be in the audience though a friend and I had to pay £1,000.00 for two tickets! A great evening and a real one off to see Noel in such intimate surroundings at that time. @layla2278 Yeah I agree but I'm not sure the guy meant weak. Noel sings beautifully no doubt about it and gives it a lot of passion. Liam shouts and in some ways, he does give it some more power. Its much harsher and brasher. But its impossible to compare the 2. I like both their voices, but I don't like hearing Liam's songs being sung by Noel like She's Electric and Live Forever. They're rock n roll songs and need to be sung by a rock n roll vocalist. Noel sings too nicely to sing those.

Liam can't even hold out notes like he used to nor go into higher pitches. @jockerocks It's not weak, it's a style of singing. He does start off quieter and without much power, but he does get into it and the control over his voice is amazing. If you watch a There and Then "Acquiesce" and compare it to any version year 2000 +, you'll see his voice has changed.

I have not met any man that can start soft and suddenly go a bit deep and refined halfway through a song.
