Thanks for uploading this, it's great to hear the different styles/methods of music in Botswana. I came across the No 1. Ladies' Detective Agency on Sky TV when I was babysitting recently, I really liked it - but I don't have Sky TV at home, and I can't see any other episodes on Youtube. I read one of the books about 5 years ago.

I want to go back to the home from which I've never been too. I long to go back to my home from which I was taken from! I love to hear Africans speak English, it sounds so pretty. I think they speak better than Americans. I love to hear African women sing, their voices are so pure, and I love to see my tribal dancers and their ballet!

Well, said, Rainy. I am an American in my heart, but I have room for more than one country in my soul. Africa has suffered a lot of violence and illness, but it is still a beautiful, wild, incredible place and Botswana in particular is one of my favorite countries there. I love, in the stories, the idea of the Botswana Morality, and the idea that so many people still hold onto that. I want to teach the Botswana Morality to my children someday.

My friend....it was also my dream for so long. I threw caution to the wind and went in 2003 for the first time....first to Jo'burg. Been to Africa now 3 times. West Africa was mind blowing. Wow. and it is true what everyone says Africa gets under your skin and in your veins.....!!! If you travel off season you can get return flights really economically. You will never be disappointed. It really helps to know a local or travel with a national.
