@kclpj a Z06 weighs 3115lbs and a 96-98 COBRA weighs 3393. Not that big of a difference. Civics, really? C'mon man, civics are about as cool as training-wheels or snow pants. @kclpj In all fairness, my cobra weighs 3270lbs with the spare tire in place. A ZO6 is only about 100lbs lighter. That's not a lot. In fact, that's a 10hp difference. So a C5 ZO6 with 405hp and a 96-98 Cobra with 415hp would be about equal....Except the mustang has better traction since it doesn't use a transverse leaf spring.
As for the dude who said my cobra has 305 horse power, a bone stock cobra does sure. To bad mine isn't bone stock. The engine is custom made and no longer stock like it was in this video. And to the moron who said a new engine won't do anything for speed think again. Stock engine 305, my new custom made engine, 400. So I fail to see how that doesn't help speed lol. I don't know the total horse power with my other upgrades but plan to find out soon
@TheMattingo ordered it through a shop in town. just talk to a RELIABLE mechanics shop, mainly try to find one thats main focus is custom add ons and aftermarket parts rather than just a mechanic shop

A Z06 would RAPE a 96-98 Cobra without quite a few mods stock. Shit even a regular C5 would leave you like nothing. Don't get me wrong, I love these cars, but we don't live in fairy tale land where the mid 13s Mustang beats an 11-12s Corvette.

Gears intake exhaust shifter u/d pulleys = quite a few mods. Even then, assuming you're not making this up completely, you were on slicks and the vette driver can't drive. lmao

Ill have to get some of my cobra videos up i just got new cams cam gears pistons rods headers and exhaust and an intercooler for when i setup my super charger but they run like 3-6k for a decent one but when i got it dynoed i was making around 510 hp
this is no longer an accurate representation of my cobras speed as i have replaced this engine with a brand new one and a seperate new throttle body. Should have a new video up soon!
yea its alot faster when its just me in the car. not only that but i had a completely new rear end put in it since this video, new gears, everything =). so its faster from that now. im still trying to figure a way to do this with no body holding the camera so i can get a real goodone. cobras rule cant go wrong getting one

i actually cant look into any new parts ATM. My crosspin inside the pumpkin on the rear broke and jammed the gears, i have to spend a good bit of money for a whole new rear axle and all that crap right now. Really sucks bad, especially since i found out the way that happens is something i have never done. So the cobra is docked for awhile untill i can fully pay off the mechanics =(.
LOL yea my friends sister is a trip. She beggged us to let her come for the ride, but all you can hear is her yelling SLOW DOWN. She was scared shitless lol. I would love an 03 cobra (STOCK SUPERCHARGED FTW!) =).
i bought it with a K&N intake, cat cut off run flowmaster all through. Other than that i am not 100% sure what else the previous owner did, all i know is it is much faster than what it should be with just those two mods.
