thats weird..my birthday is September 14th.. and i turned 16 and I'm in the 11th grade.. my cutoff in my school (NY) is December 1st then you go a grade lower because thats what happened to my brother.. maybe NJ is different. ?

the cut off date is different everywhere

i know plenty of people who turned 16 in 11th grade

but i have a couple of friends who are older or have a birthday really close to nick's and are in my grade.

PLUS homeschooling is different
