@stevevandien That is very true of a big, well produced voice. I give quite a few lessons these days in a big theater space (about 600 seats) and you can definitely feel the voices vibrations. The sound literally hits you! LOL!

A friend of mine had a friend who once heard Guelfi live as Barnaba at Lyric Opera of Chicago, if memory serves.
That friend-of-a-friend was sitting in a balcony -- which VIBRATED, he insisted, when Guelfi took and sustained the top note of "O, monumento" --

Wonderful and when he sang with big voiced Gino Penno in Italy it was a very exciting live recording. Not Tosca though.
