@ShutUpWhoAskedU in 3.5 the monk was actually a good option due to all the splatt books in pathfinder monks are a good class they are just over shadowed by the other martial classes and in 4e monks are middleground they arent good but they arent bad so people usually dont play them.

Apparently I have a bit of a reputation for backstabbing in the group I played with a while ago.

The group wizard took my share of some loot we got for raiding a gnoll den so that night I took a shit in one of his potions that apparently caused him to become poisoned.

He then trew a fireball at me so I stabbed him in the back and ran off before the other guys could catch me.

@ElfishgirlVayla All things. The books always make it entirely clear that what they're presenting isn't so much "rules" as it is a framework of how you could play the game. The DM reserves the right to pick and choose any and all aspects of what finally makes it into the game.

I think it's ridiculous that gender has to be an issue with gaming. What is it about human nature that makes us want to divide ourselves so much? It's funny, I'm the newest player in my group (or regular player) and I have yet to die... I think I've only dropped below bloodied once or twice.

The DM just likes to go after everyone else... or in the case of my newest character, 30 AC (the second highest in the party is 25, and it belongs to the wizard of all people).

The first one was made with virtually no budget, and no backing whatsoever from Wizards of the Coast, who helped out on the second one, so it lacks some of the special effects and such, but the humor and the concept (and half the actors) should be familliar.

1) In a battle with a powerful wizard exeprimenting on time travel the party and wizard are accidentally teleported to the early cretatious period and and have to fight each other and dinosaurs

2) The party stumbles upon a lost valley where since the dinosaur times magic has prevented extinction. Super intellagent raptor hominiods have colinized the land riding and hunting dinosaurs. Players must help/hurt the different rapor clans.

Still an obvious improvement over the monks from previous editions. They were at least playable. I like 4.0 monks though.
