@animemaker123 That's not the point! An artist doesn't decide to sing with playback because he doesn't want! Maybe TRL told them to play in playback, or because Strify wasn't feeling so good, or I don't know! Maybe because this was the first time Cinema Bizarre played ''live'' and the didn't want to do an ugly exibition ( esibition? :S ) I don't think they played in playback because they were bored or something like this. =)

Man, Strify is so SEXUAL. It's great. And obviously they're using playback; they don't during tour, etc., concerts, though, and I don't have a problem with it since it's a televised performance and therefore a lot more about the visual performance (especially with pop...) and they did great on that :)

Yes, it's playback.

TRL's contract requires that any and all music stars who appear on their show use playback, it's a liability thing. As that way their speech is censored, giving TRL more control over what airs on their show; specially for live performances.

Also, watch when the host hands Strify a new mic because he's talking into his 'performing' one, which doesn't actually work. You see Strify talking, but there's no sound, then after they hand him a real working mic, he can talk.

Normally they just have it off during the performance and turn it on afterwards so the artists can talk.
