@Phoenixis no touchwiz is nice : we have 4 hubs on it , the effects and the honeycomb UI is still the same but with some modifications like live panel that has a very nice look in the 10.1" HD resolution screen
worst PR ever...u don't really need to pay for actors to tout your product if it is that good. and the way these speakers just make me feel worse about samsung products.

I like the direction that Sammy is taking, but this video should have been avoided all together as it tarnishes their image pretty badly. @rosembergmsouza You and i are speculating now. There are articles claiming that the galaxy tab was actually thicker. But do note, these devices shown off at CTIA are still prototypes. They are not the actual device. Untill june 8 when the actual device is being launched, can the true measurements be made. So whether the device is thinner or thicker, we can never know till then.

@bufbarnaby The iPad 2 actually exists, is on the market and works. These tablets don't actually work yet, they're dummy units and engineering prototypes of the formfactor. They won't be on the market for a number of months either, and looking at how Honeycomb is going it may just about get a (maybe) polished OS too. Google themselves came out saying they rushed 3.0 and it's not nearly as optimised or polished as they wanted it to be. I'll go with exists and out than doesn't and isn't.
I bought galaxy tab GT 1000 serial No 352961048338203 warranty card No 1679390 from Dubai duty free. It has started malfunctioning within a week. When I switch it on its vibrator start vibrating and nothing appear on the screen. Sometimes the screen gets ON but it doesn’t respond and slowly blurt sometimes when I want to switch it off it does not respond. Now it’s totally dead and only the four factions’ lights in the bottom blinks
these new tablets from samsung are pretty good. i especially like the 8.9 model and in fact, i may buy that over my initial choice, the ipad 2. these new tablets present the biggest competition yet to the ipad 2. may the best device win.

@Ambushcrysis - The actors are pretty fake and corny. We are lead to believe that they are not actors and that they are actual users. "It's always interesting to hear the true life stories of Galaxy Tab users." at 11:23. But put the actors aside because lots of people use actors. The two main presenters are so scripted and don't come across as genuine and knowledgeable.

@rosembergmsouza You and i are speculating now. There are articles claiming that the galaxy tab was actually thicker. But do note, these devices shown off at CTIA are still prototypes. They are not the actual device. Untill june 8 when the actual device is being launched, can the true measurements be made. So whether the device is thinner or thicker, we can never know till then.

@bufbarnaby The iPad 2 actually exists, is on the market and works. These tablets don't actually work yet, they're dummy units and engineering prototypes of the formfactor. They won't be on the market for a number of months either, and looking at how Honeycomb is going it may just about get a (maybe) polished OS too. Google themselves came out saying they rushed 3.0 and it's not nearly as optimised or polished as they wanted it to be. I'll go with exists and out than doesn't and isn't.

Dont buy it
I bought galaxy tab GT 1000 serial No 352961048338203 warranty card No 1679390 from Dubai duty free. It has started malfunctioning within a week. When I switch it on its vibrator start vibrating and nothing appear on the screen. Sometimes the screen gets ON but it doesn’t respond and slowly blurt sometimes when I want to switch it off it does not respond. Now it’s totally dead and only the four factions’ lights in the bottom blinks

@AngelChildxxx I have the feeling that someone screwed up there lol. They must have mistaken it as being 0.2mm thinner when it was 0.2mm THICKER. It sounds about right when you go off their recent track record of mistakingly announcing things then retracting them because it was a miscommunication (like the "smooth" and "small" debacle). They just sound like a company desperately trying to remain relevant and saying any old crap to remain so, accurate or not.

@Ambushcrysis FACT 1: Apple doesn't use actors in speaking role, they use they're own people and, at least, REAL developers and REAL c.e.o.; FACT 2: Samsung STATES these are real life testimonials, making them desperate LIARS. The problem isn't these are actors. Problem is that Samsung want you to believe they're what they aren't (novelist, CEO of ecc...). So EPIC FAIL by Samsung. (months later after another fail, the claim about 2M galaxy tab 7" sold).
