The thing I loved most about this movie is the beautiful writing Senior del Toro did for the character of Abe Sapien. I really loved Abe in the first film, and I was kind of upset he didn't have that much of a purpose but to let everyone else's plots fall into place... I'm glad that he's involved in the plot this time, and Doug Jones is INCREDIBLE!

Guillermo del Toro = Best fuckin' director ever, and the most underrated. He should have won an oscar long ago... I love all his movies. The Devil's Backbone and Pan's Labyrinth are some of his best works. I can't wait until The Hobbit (2011) and The Hobbit 2(2012) coms out! Del Toro will be directing those movies :D
