  • Bellisimo!!! gracias!!

    Magnifique

You know, for me "Scriabine". It is a text of poetry, soft and tender melancholy, with the images of nature, and wellbeing, I would have

liked to play like that, in silence, of a greenhouse, in the medium of the flowers, surrounded of nature. Moments ago when one feelstransported far from any foreign noise, in the half-light happiness floods us thank you... Splendid Jacques of paris

  • Nice. And very cool about the Scriabin connection!

  • Thanks grouchobeer(Matt) I must say, being able to study with Scriabin's Great Grandson is one the greatest things to ever happen to me in my life time. I am so excited to be blessed with the opportunity!

  • great taste and clarity as predicted. be careful .play too much Xendar and you ll go slashing your wrists though. exciting about the relation of scriabins moving in your neighbourhood. fuk he wouldn t want to move down here.lol

  • Thanks so much Chad410! Your funny! The Scriabin family immigrated here in 1974. I get to study with Scriabin's Great Grandson and his Grandfather was the great pianist Vladimir Sofronitsky. I can't divulge his name because I don't want people bothering him. I am so blessed to have this privilege. I can't even tell you how excited I am about this opportunity of a lifetime!!!

  • Nice music, nice ambience!

  • Thanks Benita!(piano6861)

  • Did you tried other works such as Etudes or Poems ?

It would me lovely if you could play op 11 n 19 it's so rare.

I haven't got videos yet, but if you want to hear allegro de concert check my favorite.

Thanks again, you are so good

  • Have you planed to play other work such as Etudes or poems ?

It's interesting that you like both Beethoven and Scriabin because they are so different!

    I can't appreciate beethoven i don't know why :(

I haven't posted videos yet but if you want to hear Allegro de Concert look at my favorite some one plays it.

It would be so lovely if you could play prelude op 11 n 19 by Scriabin its so rare and beautiful

    Or sonata 4th ? op 42n°6 ?

Aaaaaaaah. i have to calm down

    THANKS THANKS THANKS

  • Thanks again MagicSkryabin, Etudes and poems are

on my list of to learn pieces. I hope one day to play all 24 preludes of Op.11. You share the same excitement I have for Scriabin!

  • Thank you MagicSkryabin, If you are having a hard time appreciating Beethoven search you tube

for, Grosse Fuge. Maybe that will change your mind. To me Beethoven is the most amazing composer, EVER!

  • LVB1770 You are one of the best performer. I Love Scriabin, I love your playing !!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to play all of these preludes but i can't play all i want. I'm learning Allegro de Concert by Scriabin and it's so difficult..

    BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Thanks MagicSkryabin! Scriabin is my favorite composer next to Beethoven. I'll check out your performance.

  • Never heard the piece before - it doesn't sound typically "Scriabinesque", but I like the intimate quality of your playing.

But what's with the headphone? One should be careful not to damage the ears, especially when one uses them a lot...

  • Thanks pianopera, I love playing unknown pieces. It sounds more like Schumann to me. I was doing a levels check with the headphones and watched it back and liked the take so I posted it. I have been very careful with my ears most of my life since I play drums I am very aware of the dangers of hearing damage.

  • Wow that's beautiful playing, I haven't heard this Scriabin piece before, it's extremely interesting, I actually don't know what to make of it as a whole. I really like what you did at the end as well! The recording quality is excellent by the way.

  • Hey PianoPlaya123, thanks so much. I love the Op.17 Preludes. This piece so many dynamic markings in a small space of time. In measure 13 he goes from F to P in just that one bar. I think the piece as a whole can be described by Scriabin's marking doloroso, " In a mournful or plaintive manner.

  • Great playing once again ^^

Scriabin must be one of your favs huh?

  • Thanks again Starry9Angel, Scriabin has taken up much of my time over the past year and he has pulled me away from many other composers. For some reason I am more at ease with his music. I would play more Beethoven if I had more time but Beethoven is such a daunting composer to me. Beethoven has always been my favorite composer and at this time Scriabin is my 2nd favorite. I love his symphonies. I wish

he lived beyond the age of 43. He could have changed music history.

  • I see...I actually haven't come in touch with Scriabin's music until this year, but now that I have, I can certainly see the beauty in his compositions =D

Let me know if you decide to upload anything by Beethoven! XD

  • wow, very nice and beautiful. thanks for your message telling me this.

  • Thanks flutelearner12, How's your Schumann coming along?

  • Thank you for your concern and support and help, I begin to understand that Schumann piece. But I have a flute competition coming up, so I'll hold the Schumann for 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted. Thx :)

  • Beautiful!

  • Yo, DaveGrossmanSoloBass, I just posted this like 2 seconds ago! That's insane! How are you? Are you still doing photography? Seen any Sleepytime Gorilla Museum shows lately? Their new CD is fricking insane! You know that Brian from the Dresden Dolls has been playing with Faun Fables? Cool stuff. Good to here from you.
