Um, does... Anyone else feel like this English version sounds a lot more eerie and dark than the German one? I definitely do think that the German lyrics are a lot more meaningful than the English ones (it's kind of hard to fit "Immerzu daran Gedacht- Bist du auch so verliebt wie ich?" into an English line for the same length). But yeah, I don't know if it's the voice quality on the English version, but this song is freaking me out.

Was habt ihr immer mit "deutsche Version besser"? Ich find beide Versionen gut - hören sich beide relativ gleich an, nur dass es unterschiedliche Sprachen sind. Und versucht mal, einen Songtext 1 zu 1 original in eine andere Sprache zu übersetzen - das geht nie richtig. Da muss man dann eben improvisieren. Ich finde diese Version auch sehr gelungen!

No one knows exactly but it is very likely that for the English records they used a different vocalist. As you said, the vocals sound totally different.

Check out the English version of Nur geträumt (Blossom - Just A Dream) and the vocals are definitely not those of Jasmin!
