  • brilliantly played, cant fault it technically. Unfortunately, Solace is one of those pieces that needs the full range of 10 fingers (11 in some parts of New Orleans) to make it sound right. This piece should be silky smooth, with a walking left hand and the third part should be so rubato it makes girls cry.

  • @hayleyslut Thank you for comment. I think that it is very beautiful music. But I do not yet have ability to express it. I practice more and want to post on Youtube a performance of this music once again.

  • LOVED IT!!! I do think hippypink is right. Nylon strings would sound so much better then steal. I been playing guitar all my life and my friend you have talent! So please please buddy buy barrow or steel a classical guitar and rerecord this great arrangement. Hell if you find yourself near Chicago you can barrow mine.

  • @captinnitro Thank you for comment. But I'm sorry. There is not ability to play this music anymore now.

  • @captinnitro It could be played with a more silky touch on steel as well but I think the sound he was going for was a honky tonk piano attack .... I kind of like it this way!

  • @6thStringPlayer Thank you for comment. I am glad if I have you enjoy it.

  • @njshin Your welcome, your performance is really great ! You really get the feel of a ragtime band! the way your playing the Bass you can almost here a tuba

  • great...do you have the tabs to this?

  • that is a very difficult arrangement (Laibman it sounds like the one he did in 1978). this one really sounds good.

  • Thank you for comment. I am very glad.

  • BRAAVO FROM MEXICO!!!!!!!

  • Thank you very much!!!!!!!

  • i would prefer it on a less twangy guitar. something more classical sounding, than banjo sounding

  • Thank you for comment. I am glad if I have you enjoy it.

  • although sounds like Dave Laibman's

1978 arrangement ...same key & chords...

  • so where does one get the music??

this is one of the best arrangements,

  • Thank you very much.

The person who arranged this music is Tokio Uchida. (It is sponsored a guitar classroom called TAB in Japan)

He is a person equal to the pupil of Stefan Grossman.

As for him, it is written a lot of score, a manual.

I learned this music to see his manual.

  • 難しい曲ですが、指がよく動きますね。うらやましい。他の曲も是非アップしてください。

  • ありがとうございます。他の曲もアップできるように頑張ります。
