Hi Holly. I've always thought if I had a voice like Glen's I'd head off to the woods and sing myself to death. Have delighted in his singing since the Limeliters. Saw him once, in 1969 in Boise, Idaho, and will never forget it. How we both happened to be travelling through at the same time I'll never know. It's great to read he's around and well.

Hi Holly, This song - BTW Elmer Bernstein wrote it, NOT Rod McKuen - is one of my 2 favorites of your dad's (I saw the the movie once, it's eminently forgettable); along with McKuen's "Ain't You Glad You're Livin', Joe?" (also a movie theme song). On both those songs, and several others, your dad was partnered with the equally talented conductor David Gates. He also worked with Tommy Morgan (always with lively audience sing-alongs), Perry Botkin Jr., and the late Mort Garson.
