I love the way none of the instruments are in time with each other in the way you'd expect them to. This song basically says 'F-U' to traditional structure. I tell ya, this song is definitely the dark horse of the album.

Of course, that's the thing about POP - unlike most albums, there's no filler in it. Every song is a blinder.

it´s too sad that POP wasn´t a very successful record... they were so progressive and strange and kinda sick in the 90s. and i think they would still be a progressive band if pop had sold more copies. but i have to say that "no line..." is a great record, too

POP sold 8 million records up to date. Which is more than Zooropa, released 4 years prior.

But they somehow assured everyone around that it was a flop, which seems to be the biggest conspiracy of the 20s century :)
