Dead island was in development back in 2005, they spent 3 years trying to build it so after that, they tried to release it for 2008, that did not work, there was still a lot more to do then they thought. So they pulled the project back for further development for another 3 years until they finally released the project last year, 2011. So the real rip off is left 4 dead, dead island had images of the zombie types which left 4 dead decided to rip off back in 2008.

@wowrhyen By looking at left 4 dead, it just looks like a simple sandbox that took 1 year to make. Hardly any effort what so ever. Don't get me wrong I like Valve but there is no doubt that they copied dead island first.

Oh everyone. I found a way to duplicate weapons. Not melee weapons, but GUNS!

What you need to do is simple as hell.

Have one guy with a gun, have him trade you the gun. The gun who gave you the gun will lagg out and have to restart there xbox but when he logs back in. Both you and the guy will have the gun. PASS AROUND!

DEAD ISLAND GLICTH MUST READ: to do this glitch you will need a ladder that is very very close to a wall, first climb half way up the ladder and stop, look all the way to the right and climb down, climb down to the bottom, and when the animation starts for getting off the ladder keep look right and back up while the animation happens, if you do it after the animation, you will not go into the wall, yes you go into the wall, when in the wall you can shot hit and throw through it.SREAD AROUND

@Toha15 That's what makes it so interesting, you have to fight to level up and set your perks to get a better character, but if you fight too much you're fucked. It's a fantastic idea, and I never had so many problems because I played as Sam B and my blunt weapons too a lot of time to break. If you play as Purna or Xian Mei you're gonna need to repair your stuff because their sharp weapons break a lot.

@ST0FB3RG i only completed it once as Logan and had most skills (maybe 70%) and still weapons can be destroyed easily.Damn i have last throwing bonus but i do not want to loose weapons.Logan should have better durability with knifes and clevers.

Very bad idea.Completely unrealistic.Ofcourse its just game but metal weapons that will break after 20-30 attacks is not best choice =(.P.S. I nered playing as females.

@Toha15 Wait, if you play as Sam B and use sharp weapons and don't mainly throw your weapons as Logan, you're doing something wrong. No offense, really, but you should use the characters for their passive main ability. If you chose your character for looks over abilities it's your problem.
