my take on Kanye West vs the rest:

West produces his own music meaning that besides the lyrics the beat is also a product of his imagination and creativity compared to most other rappers in the game who not only may not produce their own beats but are also formulaic, commercial, and just plain lacking in originality.

Kanye's music also has meaning to it rather than sex, money, bitches, drugs formula that everyone else seems to utilize seeing as no rapper can go wrong with these four themes
