One must understand, the Holy Bible was compiled and cannonized by early Christians, who followed and lived for Christ by following the traditions of worship , prayer, and daily living passed on to them. He keeps mentioning the word "mediator" but fails to adress the CC in catechism states it's "intercession of the saints" or intercessory prayer. 1 Timothy chap 2 he urges intercession but there is ONE mediator. Those intercession go to Jesus who then mediated or judges.

No it does not. This is a exact quote from a Catholic Bible,
"Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours."
You will note that it says "oral statement" not "word of mouth". Oral statement does not convey the idea of passing something on repetitiously as does word of mouth.

However there is yet a point that you have failed to address which even the translation from your own sect's Bible supports the "[Apostles own spoken word] and letters" to be what the Apostle Paul meant in 2 Thess 2:15.

Note that here Pauls says the traditions that the church was to "stand fast and hold" were those which they "WERE TAUGHT". "Were" is past tense and this means that the traditions that the church was supposed to keep had already been established prior to Paul writing 2 Thess. Now the date of 2 Thess being written commonly held as 51-52 AD

One must understand, the Holy Bible was compiled and cannonized by early Christians, who followed and lived for Christ by following the traditions of worship , prayer, and daily living passed on to them. Liturgy, prayer, devotions, fasting, all these things were *how* Christians followed and loved Christ, Scripture being hard to come by, and laborious to reproduce. This is how Orthodox and Catrholic Christians still follow Him today.

Note how the person or persons who posted this video talk about taking scripture out of context and then do so throughout it. Catholics, by praying to Our blessed Mother are simply asking for her to pray to her Divine Son for us because in the Davidic Monarchy the `Queen` was the Mother of the King. The King couldnt refuse/dishonour his Mother under penalty of mortal sin 1stKings Ch2 V12 is an example of royal protocol in the Davidic Monarchy. We as Catholics do NOT pray to the dead. We simply ask them to pray with and for us. I dont have my bible at hand but there are numerous examples in scripture where those in heaven take an active interest in earthly affairs - Moses and Samuel in Jer 15? Moses and Elijah at the transfiguration? They came from Heaven and anyone in Heaven has the ear of God - Amen!

This whole video is misleading. He keeps mentioning the word "mediator" but fails to adress the CC in catechism states it's "intercession of the saints" or intercessory prayer. 1 Timothy chap 2 he urges intercession but there is ONE mediator. Those intercession go to Jesus who then mediated or judges.

In official documents he is infallible, yet the process of infallibility takes a long time and is also a very intricate process. Also mary is an advocate and that's all she is in Heaven. In Matthew 5:25-26 Our Lord speaks of a man who, for his faults is cast into prison until he pays up, or satisfies for his debt. This is exactly what purgatory is. If all we have to do to be saved is confess Jesus as Lord,as the protestants blasphemously say, why does Jesus speak of this prison to begin with?

@JOAOBUNITAO Jesus has two natures, Divine and human. Both of these natures came together when He was born. He willed that His divine nature should be united with flesh. The Blessed Virgin truly is the Mother of God. By saying that she isn't, is to deny Jesus.

@TheSacredHeart2 did jesus put importance in his mother or did his apostles for that matter? she reincarnated god she is his mother only in human form to say she is the mother of god himself is to say she was alive before him how can she be his true mother if he created her? that would be like my father being my son she wouldn't even be in the bible if not for jesus you are putting to much importance on her and giving her glory and authority over humans and that is BLASPHEMY

@JOAOBUNITAO The Apostles did. When Jesus was dead they turned to the Blessed Virgin. In the catacmobs in Rome, dating back to the second century, they found an ancient prayer to the Blessed Virgin. proving that even the earliest Christians (Catholics) had special love and devotion to her. Your idea that we put too much importance on her is nonsense and is just the idea of a malcontent protestant heretic. Infact, all protestants are malcontent.

If you tolerate someone or what someone does you are accepting their evil doings. Catholics hate protestants because you people are hard headed. You don't care about anything but what you think. @TheSacredHeart2 Faith plus Catholicism is not Biblical either so by your logic since it is not we should believe it. Also the works that we are to do in addition to faith are clearly defined in the Bible and they do not include many Catholic traditions. No praying to physically dead saints, no rosaries, no popes, no priests other than the priesthood of all believers, no confessing to priest but rather confessing to God and each other, etc. Also the church in the Bible is not called the RCC

@TheSacredHeart2 Since neither Jesus, the Apostles, or the 1st century church were Catholic and God loves them I'll be like them. The devil actually loves those like you who put there trust in sects not founded by God like the Pharisaic and Catholic sects rather than in God. I pray that the devil will not see you but that God will open your heart to the truth because right now the devil certainly has your heart.

If everyone in the 1st century was Catholic then the church would have been called Catholic in the NT....but as you know it was not. I'll accept what scripture says rather than you

1. The word Christian is used by the Apostles in scripture the word Catholic is not.
2. The word Catholic was never used by the Apostles.
3. The church which Jesus established through the Apostles in scripture is called Christian not Catholic.
This is what the Apostle Paul wrote;
"Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you."
Note that he says " keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you"

Not allowing church leaders was not a tradition that the Apostle wrote of.
Praying to Christians in heaven was not a tradition that the Apostle Paul wrote of.

You then insert the words "of mouth" where it was not there. You then claim that the false teacher Luther removed "of mouth" from the verse. This is a lie of course. As I said you would have to have access to a original manuscript of 2 Thess which says "of mouth". Of course you do not because none exist. you are the heretic.

No it does not. This is a exact quote from a Catholic Bible,
"Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours."
You will note that it says "oral statement" not "word of mouth". Oral statement does not convey the idea of passing something on repetitiously as does word of mouth.

However there is yet a point that you have failed to address which even the translation from your own sect's Bible supports the "[Apostles own spoken word] and letters" to be what the Apostle Paul meant in 2 Thess 2:15.

@TheSacredHeart2 Yes you have avoided the fact that if Paul meant that the church should follow tradition that it received by word of mouth from others than the Apostles but receive word from the Apostles only through their letters; that would negate the church receiving traditions from the Apostles from their own mouths. This of course is ridiculous since most of the teaching the church received from the Apostles was from them in person and out of their own mouths.

@TheSacredHeart2 Yes that sure makes sense the church was supposed to keep traditions that it heard through the proverbial grapevine from others but only through letters from the Apostles. It makes more sense that Paul was saying that the church should keep the traditions that it was taught by the Apostles from their own mouths as well as their letters. Basically saying that their letters are as authoritative as there spoken word.

"Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle."
Note that here Pauls says the traditions that the church was to "stand fast and hold" were those which they "WERE TAUGHT". "Were" is past tense and this means that the traditions that the church was supposed to keep had already been established prior to Paul writing 2 Thess. Now the date of 2 Thess being written commonly held as 51-52 AD
