Who get's the glory? After going to one of Reuben's concerts & sensing something wrong, I got online and watched his video about his expected "rise to fame".It was all about him, not about God, and he berated his secretary/manager.After this, I refused to listen to any of his music.

I really see where you're coming from, I remember his early records being pretty solid as far as Christianity goes, and just a few weeks ago I heard word of mouth for the first time. I was really impressed with it, but then realized the lyrics had nothing as far as I could see to do about God. Then after reading up on John the only thing I can even find that relates him to the word Jesus is the Christian sites his CDs sell on, and two pictures on his myspacemy space.

the guy is just creative and there is such a lack of creativity in todays music scene that he freaks people out!!

John's live band is actually very talented... and his songs are amazing. They might not be your style but that doesn't mean it's not good. Some of his songs have seriously helped me through some tough questions. He actually writes about meaningful things.
