Hello, I just started learning Guitar myself. I want to learn in Carnatic way (since I have a very little exposure to Violin in Carnatic). Can you please guide me where I should start? Which is the best string tuning order that suits Carnatic music? Thanks.
I think it's rare to find exactly what you want on youtube with the first video you play. This is amazing. I can't explain why but this music makes me feel so many things at once.
@Django5198 This is 'Ahir Bhairav' Raga. It has 2nd and 7th note as Flattened. In Ragas we have to follow a certain rule. So it doesn't follow the western structure. The rule is that we there are certain notes which are prohibited while making ascending and descending movements.
hii you are awesome dude. I am beginner in classical guitar and would like to play ethnic music from guitar. Can you tell me your learning methods. ty..
@druds9 Thanks very much. Please visit the website mentioned in video. I am already running this course and this 'Raga' is a part of the curriculum. Regards

Sounds like regular tuning. You can get a more Indian sound using an open tuning and playing drone notes.
