i have had mine for about 6 mos. one of the best investment i have ever made and i over a dozen high keys ranging Kurzweil to Casio. my di i go nowhere with out it. i do more gigs with keyboard. Now then my hi-end stuff. I do not know roland can top this
I have a roland alpha juno 2 and i love it. Should i upgrade to the juno d or the juno di? What are the differences between the 2? I bought an alesis micron, but i like the raw sounds my alpha juno can produce.
@RLbitClassica First I would say KEEP THAT ALPHA! Very cool little synth. Adding the Juno-Di would make a great set up too. There are major differences between the two. The sound engines are almost light years apart (considering the age of the Alpha). The Di will give you a wide range of sounds from acoustic instruments to replicating analogue synths.
does the di i have LFO? i know the roland juno d does. but im not sure if im missing something or if its just not there. and what about the d beam? does it have settings for it, like volume, or ressance, crap like that? thanks
I compared the Di to the Juno G and the Di sounds better. I was told the di is on the newer Fantom G platform. Just my opinion Everyone have a safe and happy new year!
I live in one of the southern states in the USA. This summer has just been nuts with the weather. Coldest July on record too. In the summer 90 degree days are normal here. We haven't had a 90 degree day since April. Rains have been heavy and deadly. Many areas that have never flooded are seeing it now. At least I got my new Juno-Di though..., and the problem with my house flooding (just a little water) is actually the cities fault and it's getting fixed.
oh man sorry 2 hear about your house.....yo man you got that Di ssswweeeettttttt.......4 get u tube vids and make sure the fam is ok first.......you know we tubers will be here.........man the Di and the Streetboxx man look out folks SqueakD is gonna b drop'in the bomb joints
Yeah..., gotta get my house in order first! Lost use to half of my home (I have a fully finished basement that took on water). My house is nearly 50 yrs old and took on water for the first time. Lost all my carpeting, and other things. My studio is out of comm at the moment too. Gonna be expensive to repair. I'll probably post some vids this weekend. I may get a chance to squeeze a review in tomorrow though.
Sorry to hear about your house, hope its not too serious. Looks like the Di has cheered you up a bit though, looks really nice, can't wait to hear what it can do. Jealous?...Nope....Honest....grumble....
Thanks man.., the damage could have been worse. I got lucky.., my neighbor had way more damage. Looking at around $2,500 in repair costs (maybe higher).

The Juno G's based on the Fantom X and the Di's based on the more current Fantom G.

If you got the money.., get the Juno-G. The G's a full sampling workstation with expansion options.
