Guys, I work as Sr.Load Engineer in IR. Trust me we have tested 14 compartment train on single track with a speed of 130 kmph with WDP4. Its only the management and bloody politicians who don't want to fully utilize the efficiency of WDP4. Cool work guys, I hope someday someone would really fulfill this dream of ours!!!

@anshulagrawal2006 Nice to see that an IR person likes my video :D Yeah I agree with you. WDP4 was designed for 160kph top speed right? But it rarely crosses 110kph, seeing that they always give it 20+ coaches :(

If you increased the MPS why did you stop at 180 ?

It would be good to see what Indian trains look like at TGV, ICE-3 speeds of 300-320 kmph

I tried it..:D The software only allowed 2x increments. That would mean 360kph and the train looked very, very idiotic when the video was viewed at 4x speed :D

Nice video. Udyan will reach CST in 10 hrs and Tippu reach MYS in an hour!. However a train withe Non-Ac coaches can travel to a max 120kmph so that passengers are not discomforted!

Yup, I know it's highly unrealistic :D I don't think there'll ever be a diesel loco in India that would haul 22-coach passenger trains at speeds in excess of 140kph :D That's the only reason I uploaded this video, so that crazy railfans like me who have fantasies of diesel trains at high speeds can enjoy :P

Yeah...I wanted to increase the speed but not the sound..that's not possible in WindowsMovieMaker :( If you have VLC player you can play videos in it even at 3x without the sound getting spoilt...
