I have to admit that although I am an atheist myself, I often dislike Richard Dawkins' patronising, elitist and often borderline bigoted mannerisms. I respect him a scientist, but as a human being I'm afraid I am not so fond of him.
So if the universe doesn't have any consciousness, why then would it be offended by the childishness and whining of ungrateful humans who need comfort. While publicly denying that there is a purpose, Dawkins seems to subconsciously believe there is some higher constraint that applauds him for his superior way of thinking.
Religious people do need comfort and it appears that Dawkins is using that comforting scheme towards His followers, but to his credit, Dawkins seems to be a bit more honest than the religious. So, I do question his method of distraction, but i do applaud his desire to be honest, but that might be my comfort....

What a lovely way to view our lives. That we are the lucky ones; the privileged ones who had the chance for life. I think it puts a very different complexion on our time here. If we were able to hold on to that idea, I think it might very much change our approach to living.

I don't mind the realistic concept of death. I just think it's a shame there's no self satisfaction to get to see humanity progress to it's climax, then fall. I think it would be terrifyingly interesting to observe humanity advance and grow, and witness how it receives and possibly satisfies all future problems beyond my lifetime. Not that it really matters, just for curiosity sake. It certainly wouldn't be nice experiencing an infinite stagnant existence though.

Adaptation is one of the key points of evolution. Unless you want to start arguing against the English language too. You can go ahead and read a dictionary or wiki for the definition of Evolution, Adaptation, amongst many other terms you need to reread.

MRSA is a strain of Staphylococcus aureus that has evolved a resistance to methicillian. It has only been documented since the mid-90's. You have not explained it's appearance while evolution does.

I don't mind the realistic concept of death. I just think it's a shame there's no self satisfaction to get to see humanity progress to it's climax, then fall. I think it would be terrifyingly interesting to observe humanity advance and grow, and witness how it receives and possibly satisfies all future problems beyond my lifetime. Not that it really matters, just for curiosity sake. It certainly wouldn't be nice experiencing an infinite stagnant existence though.

A lot of what Dawkins says makes great sense; but just about everwhere you look you cannot deny that religion is here and it's here to stay... even people who have fallen away from believing graduate to some sort of pseudo religious belief... atheism is still the minority and more people go from being religious to "spiritual but not religious" than straight from religious to atheist. You would think a biologist would have some better understanding of why humans believe, but Dawkins does not.

The fact we are here instead of people never to be born does not justify, in my opinion, his "How we dare..." question, because that doesn´t change the fact that , if death means total erasure, that doesn´t change anything. Eventually, humanity will die and all tracks of our presence will be erased, and it will be as it it was never here. That means ANYTHING we do, think or say is ultimately absurd, meaningless.

Dawkins religion of Evodelusionism has the same roots as the Catholic religion. From pagan beliefs that were incorporated in the Roman cultural religion. They had to put in the pagan religious holidays in order to slide Christ into their "state" religion". They had to incorporate idols of women saints, and such to get it past the cultural norm.

Adaption makes a species better suited to it's habitat. Natural selection is the process by which heritable traits that make it more likely for an organism to survive and successfully reproduce become more common in a population over successive generations. It is a key mechanism of evolution. Adaptation IS evolution.

There is way more evidence to support evolution...until you came. ;) They are not just making shit up. Science itself is trying to disprove evolution as we speak. They are on your side buddy. If you have a DNA trail, you will see that no creature has ever broken the boundaries of genetics, yet these fools acutally think this is possible. All you have is a genealogy that follows the laws of genetics. There is no case in which a fish becomes a reptile or a reptile becomes a bird or a mammal, because it has never happened. Can you show me the scientific methods used on replacement or impression, fossils to show what they are? How can you believe anything these people say when it is all fabricated on belief? Charles Darwin had the natural selection theory meaning the organisms adapt their environment about 100 years ago.

Could you please give examples of the evidence that is actually opinions.
Accepting evolution as fact does not mean I have been brainwashed, I have looked at the evidence (comparative anatomy, genetics, observation of microorganisms etc.) and decided that the most logical thing that explains them is evolution.

The only way to think that the MRSA is caused by fish coming out of water and becoming land reptiles then on to mammals, birds, then on to human over some immense time is ignorance of science.

MRSA is a strain of Staphylococcus aureus that has evolved a resistance to methicillian. It has only been documented since the mid-90's. You have not explained it's appearance while evolution does.
Fish do not become reptiles that then become mammels. Simply stating something like that proves you have no understanding of theory of evolution.
Please drop your faith and look at the science with an open mind.

Bacteria are more diverse than all organisms. Saying all bacteria are the same is the same as saying all fish are the same. There not.
There are different species of fish just like there are different species of bacteria.
Any high school student with a basic understanding of biology can tell you this.

Bacteria have never been classed as a single species (the very definition of a species is a debated subject anyway). To say E.coli and staphylococcus are the same species is ridiculus. They have different shapes, different metabolisms and live in different enviroments.
