A lot of the comments are really harsh towards Cheryl... I love her and Girls Aloud but I know Cheryl's performance wasn't good. What I think you need to take into consideration is that it's probably really hard for her to go up there and sing, in front of the other judges and the acts she has to judge.

If you listen to her solo parts you hear her voice shaking from nerves, so it's understandable she isn't able to control it as well a she should. Other performances of this song are much better

@TheFinishable I understand the comments about nerves, but Cheryl and the rest of them had been in the business long enough to get a control of it. If you can't nail a performance when the pressure is on, what example does that set to the contestants she was mentoring?

@eclectica1 But maybe that's it though, if you listen to their performance of Call the Shots from 2008 you can hear that she's way more in control of her singing... Maybe it's the pressure of not only everybody listening in the audience and at home but her co-workers and the acts, the ones she's mentoring as well as the other ones... I don't know this for a fact but it's just my guess..

The awkward moment when you are one of the judges in a world-wide known music talent show, and the contestants sing better than you. I'm not a fan of Girls Aloud, I just like watching them sing this song live, but none of them sounds good live, except for Nicole. Honestly, Cheryl sucks. Even Simon is taken aback by her performance. :D

I do agree that they goes out of tune,

one thing, one of you said their dance is terrible, have you ever look at their MVs , they are trying to keep it as the original, and for yourself trying to be in that dress and move around,

yeah right..then why didnt they sing another of their songs then? Because all of them are highly autotuned, so when they sing live & without the electronics, they sound shitty everytime!

none of this is true. being HIGHLY autotune leads to robotic sounding songs. & cheryl certainly is certainly not taleneted. shes not the BEST singer but no one can say she can't sing at all& she can dance too. must admit though this is not their best performance.

They were much better vocally on Johnathan Ross but i reckon it was more pressure on the x factor, then again they should be pro's at dealing with pressure but they are only human. still entertaining :)
