Tonygee18 is obviously ignorant to law... if you aren't sure, don't speak! Peace officers are required to provide their names if asked, as public servants. Also they must be prepared to provide 2 forms of identification. If they can't prove who they are, they sure as shit don't have any authority.

Every instance you see of videographers, copwatch, whoever, coming in closer to video is met by officers trying to get them as FAR away as they can. It's always..."you are interfering!", "you are in our safety zone, get back!"...

The only jagoff is you. If a strange man comes up and accosts you, he is either a policeman with a reason or a criminal harassing you.
Cops are supposed to give the name by law or be ID as LE which he did not.
