if you know any one who works on power chairs or scooters they may have a few gel batterys laying around. you can get a 12 volt with the same or more AH and wire them in series to increace the range of your car. if you can find a 27 or bigger they have 100-155 AH. new they are very high but if you can find a used one some times they will give them away!!
