FFXII probably has the most retarded cast compared to any FF game. Those idiots are totally unlikable....except for Penelo. Vann is just like ugh, he's just despicable and so is Balthier.

Every other FF's characters are basically all the same generical characters(just differnet bodies). :/ FFXII diversed from that along with the Battle System. I personally think these characters are the most unique.

I agree with Oso about 12s characters, what I liked was it was as though there was no main character, like the game showed all their lives and didn't centre on anyone in particular.

I think you're right in saying that a several of the characters are unheroic. That's what you get when you put theiving orphans with two people who are meant to be dead and a couple of sky pirates. But I think their strange combination truly works in complimenting each other. Agreeing with Osoroshii, other Final Fantasy characters seem to be all the same moody hero, fighting with their own personal conflicts, etc... etc...

Not that that's a bad thing.

But the diversity is a nice change.

Very impressive, and great music selection for this creative idea. Good use of mouth/action synchronization, and its the synergy between Balthier and the vocalist of the song that really sells this video. I literally found myself expecting Ashe, Basch, and Fran to start playing instruments behind him! My only criticism is that this synergy fades in the latter half, starting at 1:50, when the synchronization between clips and music isn't as solid. Overall, well done! I really like it.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the video as much as I enjoyed making it. I agree about the synchronization... its partially due to Window Movie Maker's decision to at about 1:40 to speed things up by about 1 second (after the Balthier, Penelo, and Fran scene)...and I failed to notice this until later on.
