@queen10993 Modern Japan wants everyone to drink more milk, because their traditional dairy-free, fish-and-rice diet has left them underdeveloped compared to the rest of the world and susceptible to osteoporosis. In fact, in many schools, milk is a required part of lunch. Japanese milk tastes funky, however (due to how it's processed), so many kids and young adults get twitchy about having to drink it. In short, these scenes (see also Mini Moni's "Jankenpyon") are a sort of national running gag.

@queen10993 There's more grass, less corn in Japanese cattle feed; they don't remove as much fat (Japanese whole milk is 3.6%, compared to 2-3% elsewhere); and they put it through ultra-high temperature pasteurization for increased shelf life. The end product has a creamier but somewhat sterile taste, like reconstituted canned milk.

As for how I know, you simply pick this stuff up along the way if you're not just another squealing weeaboo and you actually use the brain God gave you.

@superpuppy006 Buono hasn't released or even announced a new single in eight months, and since they announce singles 2-3 months in advance, it's effectively a year.

Instead, they've released a "best of" album (which flopped), and their last tour in August had all the signs of being their LAST tour.

Furthermore, Airi has started high school and Momoko has started university, and they're both serious about their studies. They no longer have the time for a second group.

Time to face reality...

@Kjenzie Going to university isn't as common in Japan as it is in other countries. The schools there are much more rigorous and selective. Most of the members of H!P haven't gone to university, and several haven't even gone to high school. (Only middle school, up to the 9th grade, is required by law.)
