Actually, that was after season 1. He does die before the end of season 2 after giving Lady Kayura his armor to drive out Banamon, who was possessing her to keep her loyal to Talpa. Anubis died because of the wound he suffered during that fight to free her.

Quake With Fear was always my absolute favorite. But I also love how Flare Up always cut the whole city in half in the early part of the series. That was epic.

Whoa, nice attacks. But I also saw that 3 of the 4 Warlords armors also have a alternate form for their attacks from earlier episodes. Quake with Fear can either bind any opponent in the area, or it can be used on a single target. Web of Deception can trap people in a web, hence the semblance of the spider its crafted after. Snake Bite Strike can give the illusion of six arms, giving the wielder a higher chance of striking and/or poisoning his opponent, mimicking the quick strike of a snake.

@Jarock316 well there are alternates for all the warriors but Cale. Flare up now can be a straight beam of energy or a contained energy slash (which just happened to bounce off Talpa's tower) Iron rock crusher can just rip up the ground or shoot out a ball of energy. Super wave smasher can be a bunch of little balls of energy or a large wave containing those balls. Thunder bolt cut can be the energy attack or a physical attack. Arrow shock wave can cause an explosion or an energy tornado.
