  • Interesting mix of styles - given the year this was recorded there are quite innovative sounds. I found it too much of a mix, but that's just a personal thing! There are sections of this track which blew me away! Thanks for the posting!

  • it's hungarian at 5.45. i cannot recognize the band, just the language. maybe its not a soviet-russian, they are probably from the eastern block. does anybody know the last artist?

  • @reiterviktor

Bergendy Band. Természetesen magyarok! Of course they are hungarians, not soviets! (Despites the soviet communists ruled Hungary from 1945 to 1989)

The song is here: v=fjoVh6h75ao The title in rough translation: "Switching off my nerve system"

My favourites from them is: v=gV3v9GB_UJ0 "When the train rolls out..."

  • i need that track at 0:33. what's the name of it?

  • @October33rd man, 0:33 is literally the father of Dubstep funk!!!!! :D

  • How could the old repressed soviet union makes such heavy funk. This is a revelation!!!

  • @Nee69 The USSR was never trully "repressed" as the western media wants us to think, it was actually MORE free than the USA in the sense that you can smoke any drug you want and chill and do jazzy stuff (including kush and marujuana)!!!!!!

  • @harris3693 I'm not sure you know what you talking about...

  • @harris3693 Tell em man.Basically the difference between western "democracy" and eastern dictatorship,is that the second declare it.

  • @MrMethadrine true indeed, it is better to declare that you are an asshole than pretending to give a shit and then fuck over 400 million people!!!!

  • Fantastic!! Thanks from England for the hairstyles, moustaches and the beats but above all the funk............

  • another groovy soviet funk from 1973 :

    watch?v=fMPOVWG0unU

  • every one a work of genius

  • last one is from Hungary:D

  • Is there a CD/record with all these songs on it? I particularly want the track at 1:07.

  • What The NAME of this amazing russian Gems?

  • The Break at 0:33 is so progressive sound: a drum break played with Flanger effect all the time

  • 0:33 - 1:05 - sounds like real funkadelic thang

  • dude...these are all heavy on the dope side. would you mind telling me what the names of the releases are?
