  • You're quite a knowledgeable trainer. I bet the guy who sent out rattata was uber pissed went you sent out victreebel.

  • 1.What the hell happen to the mouse

  • is that the...mouse

  • You killed the plant! you bastard

  • Hmm. Do we have an Audrey II on earth?

  • Nasty! What happen if you stick your hand inside ? would same thing happen?

  • OMFG !!!!!!!!!!

  • That is nasty!

  • great video man. a little disturbing, but nonetheless, a great video.

  • Is there a way you can get rid of food leftovers by feeding it to pitcher plants? or is it gonna kill them?

  • ALL THE BONES. lol

  • "Feed me, Seamore. I'm hungry!"

  • did the plant die ? can i feed it with mouses all the time ?

  • wow

  • why am i watching this again?

  • whos hungry?

  • Thats both gross... obviously.. but, extremely fascinating. Love carnivorous plants.

  • is that the mouse ??

  • Animal Cruelt y dude

  • @TahoeSouthShore circle of life dude

  • It looks like a giant peanut

  • "The Ciiiircle of Liiiiiifeeee!"

btw - your apartment must have reeked while that mouse festered.

  • @JABS991 most peeps think the mouse festered and smelled... festering involves an animal being colonized by bacteria and maggots and the smell of ammonia is awful. here, the enzymes from the plant slowly dissolved the mouse under fluid and absorbed most of the nitrogenous compounds that create the ammonia smell. in a nutshell, i couldn't smell the digesting mouse whatsoever unless i stuck my nose in the pitcher.

  • @Piranhaboy01 Would you stick your nose in it? Oh yeah, I subscribed now.

  • @JABS991 is that supposed to be the lion king song?

  • I bet the fluid that came out of the plant smelled horrible when you cracked it open..ugh

  • it did digest it. it just rotted. that fucken cruel. it can't have been nice drowning. u should have killed it humanely before putting it in.

  • this is scientific research, so stop hating.

  • Sausage fest

  • Did you put the mouse there? That cruel.

  • is the stuff in a piture plant like....... burning??? if u touch the liquid inside will it like burn your skin or disolve it lol that might sound stupid but im wondering lol

  • @AnimalLoverGirlCutie it seems a lot of people are wondering the same thing. it doesn't burn like stomach acid. it's less aggressive than that. but if you kept your hand in it for hours i wouldn't be surprised to know it would start to dissolve any dead skin

  • @AnimalLoverGirlCutie I think there enzymes

  • If it dont show it n action then i dont believe it..it showed a mouse fall n then a dead plant wit liquid bein poor'd out hmmz....

  • @CRYST4L47 theres a video showing the mouse fall in and it said to click the link, wich brings you here.

  • @AnimalLoverGirlCutie again i dont believe the plant ate it..it fell n could get out died nd decomposed simple! LOL

  • @CRYST4L47 typo I meant It **COULDNT** get out

  • @CRYST4L47 agreed. all it did was rot. it may have absorbed some nutrients when it was rotting but this is stupid.

  • @CRYST4L47 there's very little action with the mouse inside the trap. if you want to see a photo or two, i'll be putting up another Green Hell video collage in the next day or so showing some photos

  • 1. How long did it take for the mouse to die?

    2. Looks like the trap becomes useless ... is that so?

    3. Is the mouse unable to bite his way through the wall?

    4. How long to digest the mouse into slime?

  • @ImLDSRU2 1. 2 minutes; 2. no; 3. no; 4. 2 months

  • @Piranhaboy01 Wow.. 2 minutes! What is the mechanism of death? I have seen mice live for HOURS in water ... swimming around.. so what kills them?

  • @ImLDSRU2 the liquid inside the pitcher is thicker than water and much more difficult to swim in. it's designed to soak an animal causing it to sink deeper, and then make it tougher by increasing the viscosity of the digestive fluid. a person could swim the English channel... but wouldn't make 100 ft if it's filled with oil

  • @Piranhaboy01 That is interesting. Thanks.

  • @ImLDSRU2 keep in mind its also digesting the mouse :)

  • funny how people are disgusted by fat chick in bikinis but not plants digesting mice.

  • looks like a peanut

  • Makes me want to go get one of those plants

  • CSI

  • I don't understand, does it use acid or something to kill it?

  • @Jojoateyt yes is just like you and me we have a stumache and inside we have acid thats what the plant has to digest the mouse and it cant escape because it has like greese on the insid to stop the animal escaping

  • @Jojoateyt cool isnt it

  • would have been cool to have a camera sitting above the plant looking in, then a time lapse video of the pitcher plant digesting the mouse!!

  • mmmm mouse juice

  • so you fed that mouse to the plant?

  • Mouse juice.

  • poor mouse :/

  • ugh! looks like a xbreed of a dick and a vagina

  • Lol so gross but so cool

  • thats how ice cream is born

  • @JPBirdy2010 now in predigested mouse flavor

  • perfect for a coffin

  • uh oh...you do not want to know what just happened...

  • PLANTS ARE TAKING OVER! LOL

  • Do the plants digest garbage? XD It would be a great way to dispose of trash XP

  • @nambinhvu naah. im getting a nepenthes spathulata x somethong. can't remember

  • Here's a Question: what does that smell like?.. I imagine it smells bad . . .

  • The mouse is nothing more than a mess now.

  • Thats awesome, but that dude enjoyed that almost to much haha

  • looked so nasy i could smell it through my computer

  • @theailenwar Amen brotha!

  • cool but yuk

  • Damn Nature, You Scary!!

  • I bet you just dropped a mouse in there and watched it drown didn't you?

  • This is what happens in your ass when you dont take a crap for 3 years

  • can't tell whats what here, lol I almost smelled it through the computer...stupid brain recreating what it would smell like.

  • Quick Question: Have you ever dipped your finger in a fresh Nepenthes and then tasted it? I'm guess its tangy yes? :D

  • a nicatine spatula get it cus it called a o fuk u guys

  • it's like watching an unboxing video

  • Now why would you grow a beautiful plant like that and not drink the juice that comes out?

  • @Apoc4lyps3

You can drink it, but it is not reccomended because it contains the disgusting remains of prey the plant has eaten.

Besides, the plant needs it and works hard to create it.

  • it's like a body that has been in the water too long. Unidentifiable .

  • how bad did that smell???

  • that's amazing!

It's cool how you're raising so many of these plants. Thanks for sharing it was really entertaining.

  • this is the coolest video i have seen on you tube in a long time.. i feel like i'm a science class or something and i'm actually paying attention

  • @nimmnimmful The only time I ever really payed attention during Science was during vids, or labs. :3

  • it looks like cream of chocolate and caramel hahahahhahha

  • How the hell do you die from water?

  • @CaRB0nS01 You drown....

  • @Slopperdroppper Well how do you decay from it? That's what I'm asking

  • @CaRB0nS01 It is more like saliva than water, saliva has stuff in it that helps break down food.

  • @CaRB0nS01 its actually a acid

  • one of these days ur gonna walk into one of your plants, and it will eat you lol

  • that would be a great breakfast. " We are gathered here today to mourn our great friend who died from food poisoning..."

  • that must have smelt wonderful

  • awesome u can see the organs

  • He just disected a victreebel... o-o

  • thats so ausome and disgusting

  • is it me does it look like vagina lips and 2 smoke this as a bong!!!

  • ": he ate all the bones "

  • So why did it die? Mouse remains clogged it up? O_o

  • thats all the animals that died in it you are so mean to iteruped there graves!!!!!!!!

  • efficient eaters lol.

  • Just stop Talking dude and get to the point of the video...

  • am i the only one thinking during the first half of the vid...GET THE FUCK ON WITH IT

  • @22Lucid no

  • But will it blend?

    Yes, yes is will.

  • Mettete mi piace a questa pagina facebook chiamata: L'ominum bisbeticus

  • You would make a great Jango Fett

  • did it stiink?? ^^

  • What species of Nepenthes is this mouse trap! Did this mouse get in there. Was it an accident or did you feed it?

  • These pticher plants are huge and cool. My other favorite plant to grow is a TickleMe Plant (it really moves when you tickle it) icheck out YouTube and you can easily grow your own

  • "these are mouse droppings"

It shat itself when it fell in!

  • @BOOM3headshots Im pretty sure he said drippings.

  • Nothing wrong with poking around in muck to examine its viscosity, texture and general appearance. I would draw the line at wafting a whiff of the rotted mouse fluids to analyze the rotten stink of the goo.

It might gross you out, but it's all in the name of curiosity. Some people are very resistant to gross factor.

Of course, those people do sometimes get a good laugh out of other people being grossed out. ;)

  • This is a Victreebel!

  • wat happens if you touch the liquid???

  • I think I saw the mouses gut...

  • Damn nature, you scary!

  • lol its a DeadMua5 XD

  • @STROKINmyWOOKIE Ironic because the guy found a dead mouse in his computer console, so he was known at "Dead mouse guy". Then he entered a chat room with the name "deadmau5".

    AND THUS DEADMAU5 WAS BORN.

  • the plant is barfing

  • Thanks for the upload Jame "Buffalo Bill" Gumb!

  • This is in his house? So he just dropped a mouse off in this pitcher plant? Did it not stink like $hit? How weird.

  • LOL! Once again, natural selection disproves vegetarian ideals. You can't outsmart nature. XD

  • can you tell me why the bones dissapeared but not the mouse "meat"? shouldn't it have eaten the mouse "meat" and the bones remaining like in the cartoons?

  • @powereater Thats in cartoons :P the place we live on is earth. The plant digests slowly. The enzymes the plant secretes is weak, but strong enough to digest the flesh. The plant cannot digest the skin and bone throughly.

  • Your videos are interesting piranhaboy.

  • I find your videos so confusing... you obviously have a great appreciation for the beauty of nature, yet appear to get enjoyment from the drawn out suffering of other equally beautiful living things. It seems that most of these 'captures' are staged, therefore unnatural when surely they could be replaced with meat that in comparison had a quick death?

  • You're one creepy-sounding individual.

  • I hope u wash your hands before you eat.

  • well i thinks the goo that is not "eaten" is the fat. cause i have heard that the plants cant "eat" that. that is why you should not feed them meatballs and stuff like that. but that is so fucking cool!!! i have a little plant. cant wait until i can feed it whit small dogs. hehehe

  • Eww eww eww, ;D

Interesting though.. but the squishy slush of a dead mouse still kinda made me gag :D

good video. these things must be done FOR SCIENCE ;>

  • Christ, I'd lock my bedroom door at night if I had that thing in the house.

  • poor ow poor ow pushkey cat :(

  • Creep

  • Did it died?

  • dog...how did it smell

  • does it really eat the mouse or those it just rot in side

  • what if u put ur finger in there?

  • I KNOW THAT SHIT STANK!!!!!!!

  • Yay flame wars and that's so dam cool

  • In soviet russia, plants eat animals

  • i think i would be scared to have this in my house...what if i accidentally dropped something in it!!!! wahhhh!!!! XO

  • Amazing.

  • And here we have the conclusion of Victreebel's feast on a delicious mouse.

  • Amazing to me that a plant, a plant grown from seeds in the earth, is carnivorous. Correct me, anyone, if I'm wrong, but aren't these plants without brains, thoughts, and emotions? haha, just freakin' out. Glad my cornfield isn't like this...or my pumpkin patch....

  • Carnivorous Plant: Come in

    Mouse: Ok

    Mouse: Im Drowning (dies)

    Carnivorous Plant : Psyched

Carnivorous Plant : hey are you still alive

  • i just learned something today

  • Dude, I don't even want to imagine the smell...

  • um.....i love this video but uh......EW! DISGUSTING! GROSS! AHH! OMJ OMJ OMJ! please tell me that wasn't a mouse! :S :)

  • looks like refried beans

  • wonder if my ex could fit in..........hmmm...lol

  • @hkloesifyable hahahahaha nice one!

  • Excellent video.

How long was the mouse in there for?

  • Did you feed the mouse to the plant? If so was it dead before you put it in? Plz say yes, else it died a pretty horrible death...

  • @emofdo In the previous video, the mouse looked pretty alive when it fell into the pit of doom.

  • there should be a plant that literally chews it's victims

  • Wonderful!

  • OMG THINK IM GONNA BARF.

  • It really is mind boggling that almost the entire mouse is now litteraly in the plant. No longer mouse I suppose but rather broken down to its elements?

  • jeez, let nature do its job. It's not the first time nor the last that a pitcher plant eats a mouse. I read in a book that it even ate a baby monkey! shit happens!

  • amazing.

  • ewwwwww!

  • I'm buying Venus Flytraps, Cobra Lilies some of these babies-

    "Get off my lawn!"

  • its an omega peanut... and poor mousie!!! pikachu noez!!!!

  • @kindguy25 Omega Peanut!!! That needs to be a Screen Name... Or what the Heck a movie!

  • eat it

  • Can somebody tell me how much these things cost!? I either want to get one of these or a cobra lily.

  • @downwithbreeders1 it's dependant on where an how tall the plant is when you get it. I went an bought a venus flytrap, octapus plant, an a couple pitcher plants(what you see in the video),all for around $10 each. mind you they were ity bity at the time too.. again, just depends on where you buy them an what their size is.

  • @DeathAngel0032 I think I'll just stick with venus flytraps.

  • how did you know a mouse was in it? b4 you cut it open, i mean

interesting... i dont yet have a pitcher plant, dont have the room unfortunately.... but if they catch mice... in a house thats..a bonus

  • @pahoboye I think he fed the mouse to it.

  • is dat a fucken pokemon plant xD

  • at 2:00 it looks like a gigantic peanut, but then i saw what the Nepenthes had for dinner, and i went blech

  • O.o 7 feet!!!??? my god. id only expect mouse catching from rajah or truncata this is the first i heard of from spatulata....

  • Apparently, the main element that the planet seems to thrive off of is calcium. Interesting.

  • Amazing that the plant made such efficient use of that mouse. Probably the best meal the plant ever had.

Must stink to be a mouse. Half the animal kingdom wants to eat you, and now plants do too! :-D

I love your accent, by the way.

  • Looks like you have all the parts for you'r own "Little Shop of Horrors" xD

    Very Fascinating :)

  • does these plants eat fish? if so then y dont just throw in a can of sardine

  • @frostwyrm3000 yes, yes they do eat fish. .. and toads and mice and whatever else fits into the trap. i wouldn't throw oily cooked sardines in though but a raw small herring (what a sardine is) would be fine
