Secondly, I'm actually a Hijikata/Okita fan, though I can see them either as passionate lovers or just close friends (it doesn't matter as long as they're together). /Nevertheless/, I can't agree with people who claim that they were shown as being gay in the anime. They weren't, especially not Hijikata (I think Shinpachi stated it explicitly that the vice-commander was not into men /at all/).

The manga's first series which inspired the anime is only called PeaceMaker and the upcoming sequel to the manga will be called "Peacemaker Kurogane" so if they decide to do the second season as well as an anime, what are they gonna call it??
