Wow! loved these photo's. I can almost feel the atmosphere...and the heat!
Im intrigued by that floating market....do you have to swim out to them? haha!
I dont think there's any need for those condoms...if they dont have mints, then thats kissing out the window, so you can say goodbye to foreplay too.LOL!
Some lovely Images Julie - but cant get the cabbages and condoms one out of my head for some reason !!!!!!!! ;-) My brother is heading to Thailand in November - maybe its the cabbages !!
This video is so enchanting, what with the magical music and brilliantly choreographed scenes, wow! I too have been to Thailand and sampled its delights(with my wife of course! lol) and have to say that this video has re-ignited my passion for the place. Fantastic!!!
Very exotic place! Thailand culture is near with my country! Coconut and banana trees, floating market, sculpture, orchid, dance, even the elephant soccer team! Oh and I notice the music is almost exactly the same as one of our traditional music scales. I'm happy if you like Asian places. Soon you will familiar with our mosquitos too :D
It rains big time. Wall to wall rain, one night we literally waded home from a restaurant! I tried to video it but the camera steamed up too uickly to make it worth posting.x.
A very Grand Video, you have enlightened me to the rich culture of a distant nation, wot a contrast to our poor pathetic existance, we are in the third world of Surveylance cameras watching our every move, if thats progress then they can keep it, i am off the first chance I get, to find peace and tranquility, ah well my computer`s the closest I can find and your wonderful video, Thanks Jools xxx
Wayne darling, England is not so bad if you look beyond 'big brother'. I have been out today cycling in the country surrounded by peace and tranquility everywhere. I think your new vid with Dave is excellent - I'll go there in a minute. much love.x.
Adorable video with fab pics. Wish I had a cam like that when I visited many years ago. I did not go to the beaches I did trecking of the opium triangle, departing from Ciang Mai, with a guide and 4 more persons (from Australia) an experince I will never forget, the leaches, the humidity, the hot rain!!!
I can say glad I did it, but I'll never do it again. He he to confortable now at my age!!!! Still a wonderful memory from a lovely country with such nice people!!!!
I hope you do get there one day. It's beautiful. Warmer hospitality you would be hard pressed to find and it's not an expensive place to be once you get there.
Went to Koh Samui a few years ago. Beautiful island. One piece of advice though, don't ride on an elephant, astride its neck, when wearing shorts. Very tough, prickly hairs.
A most remarkable video...sights and sounds of a place so far away from here in distance and in context. You are so lucky to be able to visit these wonderful places, and I applaud you for taking advantage...and sharing so generously! Thanks so much! :o)
Yes, I am very lucky to be able to travel so widely. The world is a wonderful place. Thank YOU for always commenting so favourably on my travel videos.x.
Have been nearly to Texas, not sure I could rike a bike in that heat, hiking was bad enough in the four corners. Thank you for the offer of your bike Sir Tom.x.
My wife of 25 years was born and raised there and we look forward to visiting again soon to her country. The people there are exceptionally warm and hospitable, just like my wife. They don't seem to harbor any anger or aggressive type feelings, and it is consider weak to loose control over your emotions, everything just seems to flow along and work, especially the traffic. Lovely culture, lovely people, thanks for sharing your travels. Mark
Beautiful video Julia, as always you produced some excellent photographs :)
Although I have never been to Thailand but have had friends from there, it brought back memories of my two trips to Malaysia, some of the scenes were very similar in parts :)
I love Asia and the people, they are so friendly :)
Fantastic video and excellent photos !
