  • Beautiful

  • Very nice indeed! I mean specially from de middle section to the end. Congratulations

  • @anthonela1

    thanks

  • You're awesome. I'm a beginner and I really enjoy watching your videos...they motivate me.

  • Absolutely beautiful, great dynamics and as always thoughtful and well executed playing... what a treat! thanks for posting.

  • Beautiful! I've enjoyed watching your hair evolve over the years.

  • @fookthefrench

or "devolve" as the case may be. :D

  • This is excellent!

  • Congratulations, I love to hear it. It's good to see someone make music with zeal, with quality. Thank you.

  • @Marcioon9

    thanks!

  • Gorgeous! I'd never dare arrange a classical piece... Fantastic sound, btw! Next time you need a duet don't work twice, just call me ! ;D

  • @chamacojesus

thanks, Jesus. not an arrangement here, just straight transcription. but i think you would do just fine either arranging or transcribing in any genre. cheers. thanks for watching

  • A master at work once again. I just wonder why Mr. Clef didn't show the meldoy played in a second window. Perhaps he wasn't decently dressed? The fans can only wonder...

  • So good to hear you again, wonderful and inspiring but too technical, that is for me

  • Bravo! absolute Bravo!, Every time I think your done impressing me, It happens all over again.

  • @Conzerned

    thanks a lot

  • Tony have you ever thought of covering a John Martyn song? I think you would do a beautiful job one. And this is sublime!

  • @jonathanratcliffe

i've never listened to John Martyn. strange because i do like a lot of acoustic british guitarists of the same era. but he's still one i haven't delved into.

  • "nothing is as beautiful as a guitar except maybe two" Chopin

  • Gorgeous. Very nice to hear you doing duets, I get dizzy just by thinking what you could achieve using this formula. Great choice of music once again Tony.

  • @hyperboreal

Thanks, Alex. Not sure i'll do too many of them. there's a guy who has a solo guitar version on YT in Eminor which is worth checking out and which i considered learning but i felt like keeping it in the common Dm transcription and not sacrificing too many chords.

  • A "Romantic" number...I like...err Love..

    5*

    --Van

P.S. Brrrr it cold around "our" parts (neighbor), 2 degrees last night....your guitar playing gives me a little warmth...and worth a couple listens too....

  • @van1976

thanks, buddy. finally seeing some snow. nothing like last winter.

  • Simply beautiful... thanks for sharing.

  • Muy bueno Tony.

  • How did u learn this by ear? Simply amazing!!!

  • wow! You are so very good my friend.

  • @guitarfan01

    thank you

  • Beautiful...

  • beautiful! do you have an album released?

  • @streamr89

yes, see "buy" links on my channel. or search amazon for "tony r. clef"

    thanks!!

  • Very beautiful.

  • Nice - thanks - will try as duet!

  • @ddanze

great. yeah, give it a spin. it's a pleasure playing this, figuring it out, et cetera. cheers.

  • Beautiful..

  • Bravo!!

  • Brilliant!

  • Masterful! Lovely tone and technique.

  • @LittleMickyFingers

    thanks again, Micky

  • is this your version or you play with a score?

  • @farleyfsantana

well i learned it by ear, nothing written down. just took the Heifitz clip from youtube, extracted the audio, imported it to Audacity and played it again and again until i could figure out what the pianist was doing. the melody part was easy.

glad you liked the Cais arrangement. that was one i was very pleased with myself. cheers.

  • I'll try to learn by watching i learned Cais by Milton Nascimento watching you

  • Absolutely amazed. You blew me away...

  • Maravilloso. This time, you make me cry. THANKS.

  • @JMRBAQ

don't do that, now. dry those eyes. :D thanks a lot.

  • great as always, sir!

  • Such a beautiful sound! I can listen to it all day! :)

  • @AnushaR04

    be my guest. thanks!

  • Make a book of all your tabs and sell it. I'll take twenty :) (there's no way you don't write anything down)

  • @BiggBrown28

I appreciate it but strange as it may seem I really don't need or want to work from a page with scribbles on it. WAY easier to just relearn it by listening and watching.

  • Watching and listening I think the accompaniment part is just as interesting as the beautiful melody, very sensitive composition and wonderful execution, enjoyed listening, Tony hop over and listen to my " My funny Valentine" I think you'll enjoy, greetings Vic.

  • @Jazzguts

thanks, Vic. Yes, since all the "work" is in the piano part, that's the part I filmed. Of course, that means the clip should really be called "Accompaniment" and not "Melodie". Ha ha. cheers, man. Happy New Year. I enjoyed your latest, as well.

  • A beautiful thing to hear as I have my first cup of coffee on this January Sunday morning. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent yet again.

  • @Ebonius

Ah, music and coffee. A match made in heaven. thanks!

  • Nice tone

  • Lovely stuff.

  • Wonderful :)

  • Beautiful played. Really like it and love the sound of this guitar.

Hope you don't mind if I add this version to my fav. list.

    Happy new year!

  • @49Eleonora

don't mind at all! thanks. Happy new year.

  • My heart!

    Absolutely divine, sir.

  • Beautiful two-voiced interpretation of a classic modernized thanks to your wonderful and harmonious version. May God keep your ear many years.

  • @FALENKO100

    thank you

  • Nice, Tony! Fantastic work! Thanx for sharing

  • exquisite!! thank you

  • Beautiful!!!!

    Martin

  • Beautiful sweet sound and melody. Bravo!

However, I would prefer you to film the main melody part and not the chords part.

What about using a double window?

    Just great anyway!

  • @GeorgeSpan

well, there's more action in the accompaniment so that's why i did it this way.

    thanks.

  • great, as allways. what about overdubbing some beatles song?

  • Tony, that was so enchanting, really lovely, my friend.

    Amy

  • @amccann7

    thank you, Amy.

  • Do you read tablature or do you read music? I haven't had a guitar in so long I forgot both. Very nice music you're playing though.

  • Heck yeah! This is amazing!

  • Bravo!

  • Gorgeous and masterful Tony. You have such a wonderful "touch" on guitar. Love hearing you play. Thank you for sharing. ~Janie

  • @guitargalsings

    thanks, Janie. I appreciate it.

  • wonderful job as always, you should split screen the melody section next time if u record video for it.

  • @RL82

yeah, that'd be cool. but it's hard enough figuring out how to do just the audio overdub! :D

  • Beautiful playing of a wonderful piece! Thanks for sharing. This is fantastic!

  • @plaidman67

    thank you

  • Maravilhoso!!!Parabéns!!!!

    Abraços do Jair do Canto.

    Rio de Janeiro
