3571md My mother knew Joe Cunneen and I had the pleasure of meeting him in the late eightys. I thought he was in need of a wheel chair since he was a child. Can any one clarify? Thanks.
My mother was good friends with Joe in Quilty. He had a crutch and/or cane until later in life when went to a wheelchair (with umbrella attached.) My mother was a Downes from Seafield.
Fantastic! The fiddle, the whistle, the bodhrán, the toe-tapping sandal, the marvelous old gentleman stepdancing! It is all brilliant. Your archival clips are real treasures, Michael. Thanks for this. Straight to my trad Irish playlist.
