@orr940 No, technically Ra was the father of Horus the Elder; the father of the better-known Horus (the one I suspect you are referring to) was Osiris. And it's not called a trinity, it's called a triad. There is actually a difference; a triad is three gods frequently connected to each other (whether through relation, common associations, etc) whereas a trinity is one god in three persons.
