I've heard that there's to be a sequel to the only 25 episodes of Berserk as an anime. However I can hardly find any things on the internet about it but rumors.
Not so much a sequel to the anime its new films or OVAS that tell the whole story from the Manga's perspective so it will have differences from the anime but will eventually continue from where it left off. hope that helps

I think ill get the whole Berserk series now on dvd for old time sake....this was definitely 90s HS days for me....hardcore anime days....haha i gotta back all those old VHS animes i had on classic.....great track here

The first thoughts I have is of the episode after the Gattsu slaughters 100 men. Casca and Gattsu are talking of dreams being akin to flames and that everyone's dreams are small and fragile. To preserve those dreams/flames they throw them together with the enormous one that is Griffeth yet they all fail to realize the brighter the light, the darker the surrounding shadows ... this moment and many others such as the intro of every episode show how deeply the tale speaks to the nature of man ^_^
....this song makes me remember too many things that hurt, felt good, felt like i wanted to die, live cry laugh, drift away, pull closer...susumu....you're killin me lol :P
This one of the first animes I ever got into, and even though I really liked it the music was what had me sold; little did I know that I'd become such a huge fan of Hirasawa.
Susumu Hirasawa is a great great great artist! And Berserk is a great great great manga/anime.. Both emotional and filled with soul! Love it! This song just makes me emotional! And I agree with Grumpycline.. You can feel all the emotions!! So.. awesome!!! Ahhhh! :D I love it!
I believe this is the greatest song of all the Berserk songs. You can feel the sorrow, rage, love, hate, pain, and just overall emotion of the entire story within this 3 minute song.
I would encourage everyone to watch the anime and read the manga. The story is the best in the anime world.
Too bad this masterpiece is quite unrecognized both in Japan and USA... :C I blame the studios only focusing on making money out of Otakus jacking off at Moe and Hentai... :P, and the wapanese falling for the dumbest characters and storyline cuz they are supposedly "cute," superficial 2D character personalities...
Just by listening to the various Berserk soundtracks (the anime series, the PS2 game soundtrack and the Dreamcast soundtrack) you can just tell how emotional Susumu felt when making these melodies. He really poured a lot of his soul/feelings into these songs. So beautiful.
I don't doubt it! The show has an interesting story and great music, but some really sloppy dialogue, transitions, and the animation is really sub par... but overall I still loved it.
@sirkillyou012 It's better but some people just needs those moving pictures and sounds and all, thank god the anime continues this year so some of the not so HC fans find out what Gattsu really is about. Think about this full Berserk soundtrack playing background and readin the manga that is something, sometimes when somedy asks me to come drinking with them i say no, just so i can relax and read some cood god damn manga
omg I know man fuck me it just jumped straight into my number one spot and one piece was finally knocked off its top spot just so incredible I wish the anime hadnt ended where it did because it is a sour ending plus the changes they did in the anime. I really hope in this new anime project that its not changed too much. But fuck me so incredible GUTS could batter naruto and ichigo and luffy tbh.
