My wife has this phone. She's had it replaced 3 times for numerous reasons, but mainly because the charging jack comes loose on the phone. Thus the phone stops charging properly. The phone also gets horribly slowly, almost to the point of being non-functioning at times. Even with all the Kill Task programs. Now on her 3rd one for only about 1.5 months, it's starting to screw up like the others. She's not rough on the phone, drops, or anything like that. Phone sucks!

if u text alot, go with the moment ! and a way faster processor than most android phones, only the motorola droid is on the same level as of right now, but the htc hero is more customizable

There are benefits to both. I have the Hero and have 28 days to make up my mind if I should keep it. To me the Moment is the better phone - bluetooth, processer and better driod software. I like my hero only cause it is smaller and I can use it with one hand. To me the Hero is much more stylish. But, I know I would like a bluetooth that works.

It all depends. Moment has the slide out keyboard, and Hero dosen't. I prefer moment because of the keyboard. Touching the screen too much only leads to a lot of finger prints.
