Hey, I am doing a video game for the playstation platform in two to three years from now and I would like to know what you would like to see in a RPG (aside from updating final fantasy vii, ecetera).
If you take the time to read this, and decide to respond....please have my email and keep me updated....I would like to make something awe-inspiring! :)
The email is: water.l@live.com
Any ideas used for it and I will give you proper credit for it in the game when complete!
I had this game and it was a pretty good one. The controls and game play were a little odd. But still a great game. Utilized close to the full potential of the VIC graphics chip of the C64 and the opening music utilizes the SID sound chip pretty well. A nice display of what the 64 is capable of in the hands of the right programmers.
Wow, you make this look easy! And you certainly don't lose a second there. I just tried with a cheat on, and the suit is still a bitch to control - whoever thought of this "rebound greater than impact" principle for bouncing off the walls must have had a bad day... thanks for helping me see this through after all these years ;-)
hah. I got into a lot of trouble over this game. Basically my dad had a 2400 baud modem and this was on a bulletin board. While my parents weren't around I used their account to buy it :) I think it was a tenner, a lot of money in those days. I was bollocked to high heaven!
Loved this game so much. funny how the c64 is better that the pc emulator, guess original is always best. can't believe it's so short though seemed to take me forvever to finish when i was a kid, must have been the load times ha, ha.
A super game, I used to enjoy it a lot. And the music is awsome. A good thing is you can find both the music and a decent version of the the game for PC if you search in Wikipedia :)
I'll aways remember the game for the full intro and music, I liked the graphics a lot. I was sad to hear about Richard Joseph also a few months back, for me this was the 1 tune firstly that comes to mind with his name. there is an audio interview with him , if you goggle search "c64hq richard joseph" that was interesting.
Thank you so much for this! one of my all time favourites. I feel like i'm back in my brothers room with nothing else to do but play this game over and over. good times! now i watch my son play halo and only hope he enjoys it as much as i enjoyed antiriad!
Please can you tell me how or where to get this game please? I should have warned you about how tough it is...it takes practise but it was the best shooter on the c64 period and so its worth it. It was long ago, but i remember getting quite far in this game but my damn tape loader kept messing up the game!! Remember those damn tape loaders for c64? Great graphics music and genuine skills and a working tape loader required back then.If you do decide to show this game good luck and thanks!!!!
Just realised that it is just a somewhat primitive Metroid game, and I found it highly difficult when I was playing it as a kid.

Recently I was showing some old C64-stuff to kids that just have every modern video game console. When they saw this game they all were amazed!

One of the easier games on the C64, still a lot of fun. Plus the intro music is awesome.

one of the few C64 games i played through 20 years ago. Pretty hard if you have no save function and don't know the map yet :)
The End sucks a bit. should have included at least some nice gfx, but anyway, the game has great stmosphere.

R.I.P - I was always a great fan of Richard Joseph.. C64 game without RJ's music is not really complete.
