ty fixed a problem for me with recording :D

I bought a easycap 2.0 usb with video etc. I've installed all the drivers, software and hardware, but when I try record it comes up with "Grabster av 350" instead of the "Syntek 10050" or whatever it is, do you know why?

@HeartbeatFan1975 i fixed it restarted your comp and then put the software in hit install driver when it says u want to remove everything or somthing press cancel then restart again and thts hiow mine wiorked

i did everything, but i still have a problem. The screen will not show up. its just a green box. how do i fix it?

i need help, when i press capture video it says, input signal is unclear , do you still want to record. and another problem occurs, when i make a video it goes into my library and the image for it is black. but when and i double click it, it plays the movie fine but when i save it to my desktop i click the video and i click it and all that it does is play the audio not the video. please help

Easycap capture card!?

okay so i use easy cap to record my PS3 game-plays. the thing is when i re-watch the video that i recorded there is a problem. it starts off normal with everything good but a while into the video it slows down quite considerably and and then becomes laggy and this continues for a while before it goes back to normal, but this keeps occuring over and over again with every video. what might be the problem and how can i resolve this! thanks :D

i got an easycap, i got it up and running, i had a preview and everything, but then i hit record and the screen went completely black and down the bottom where it say frames captured and frames dropped it captured 1 frame and dropped the rest, i have tried everything and it does not work, help??

If you have the video input set as pal make sure all your video settings are pal same if it's NTSC because if they don't match up that's what happens.

I'm afraid to say...yes, that is the driver for the DC60 model which does not get colour sorry.

Try changing the video filter between the different NTSC and see if you get colour.

Right, I'm on windows Vista, and selecting the NTSC options got me nothing, so I changed to PAL_B.

I can record fine (in colour, with sound) when my Xbox is set to PAL 50, but as soon as I change the Xbox to PAL 60, the picture disappears.

Tell me, have I been conned into buying a DC60 even though it was listed as being a DC60+ on ebay?

This can be 2 things, your sound bit rate is to low or your cpu can't handle recording so it's lagging.

Try going to MPEG settings and turn the sound bit rate higher.

my source says 'Grabster av 350 capture' not 'usb 2861 device'. I think it is because i updated the driver. do u no how to get it back to 'usb 2861 device?

yeah mine says grabster av 350 capture aswell and theres no usb or anything else in the source just grabster! :(

grabster is the easycap itself!

go on start. type device manager in the word bit on the bottom. and then look at imaging devices! if your easycap is plugged in it says grabster, if u take it out then it goes away! wtf?

see if that happens because the easycap might be bust, i bought mine from china, what about u?
