Yes, I mike it with a SM57, positioned about 6" directly in front of the sound hole. The SM57 is an industry workhorse!

Yeah, me too. The imagery in the Cash video is almost impossible to watch. He is very frail. Even with that, he is still the "Man".

You know, it's funny, I've always wanted to do my own original cover of the Cash version of this song. Sounds goofy that I'd wanna do a cover of a cover, but hey, why not? I've got this idea in my mind...

Anyways nice job. See? You're a good singer. And yes...this song is very badass...and you did it justice. Great playing, and nice acoustic. What kind of guitar is that?

The acoustic is a Seagull S6 (cedar top). I have it strung with Elixir's. I've owned this guitar about 8 years.

Yes, that's the chord progression, but I would guess it's in A (I never took lessons, 'ya know). :P
